What interesting information is in a black hole that people don't know?

  1. A black hole is not a strange suction device that eats up everything. It’s just a star that gets compressed to such a small sizes that its gravity is so strong enough that virtually no light can escape its gravity. That’s all. It’s nothing strange. As earth has an escape velocity of 11km/s, a black hole has an escape velocity of more than the speed of light. Remember: It’s just a star that has powerful gravity.
  2. Black holes don’t suck everything into it. They actually leak out Hawking radiation, killing it slowly. Due to this Hawking radiation, a gigantic black hole would evaporate after 1 googol years.
  3. A black hole doesn’t really suck, it attracts. Like any planet or star, it has gravity, just much stronger. You don’t get sucked into earth; you get attracted to it, and it’s no different here.
