What mistake could be fatal in the life of a Hollywood actress?

At 31 years old and already with two Oscar nominations in her career, star Margot Robbie said:

Auditions terrify me; I get nervous even when I know I'll get the part. I still get very nervous; I find auditions truly frightening.

A short time later, she recalled an incident that marked her life as an actress: “Oh my God, I did a terrible audition once. It’s a long story…”

"In America, obviously, the names of the drugs are different than they are in Australia," Robbie said.

“I had minor surgery the day before a big audition that I really wanted the part for, and I was in a lot of pain. I was at my friend’s house and he had just had a root canal. I was like, ‘I’m in a lot of pain, but I have this audition tomorrow.’ And he said, ‘Well, I have root canal painkillers. Take them as soon as you wake up, before the audition, and you’ll be fine.’ And I said, ‘Okay, thank you,’” the actress continued.

The next day, he offered the actress two pills, which she ended up taking both at once.

When he said, 'Take two,' I thought he normally took two as a dosage , but in fact he intended to take two in case I needed another one later,” she recalled.

“Finally, I woke up and was getting ready for the audition. I didn’t have time for breakfast, so on an empty stomach, I had two. I was driving and suddenly I was like, ‘Oh my God, what a beautiful day it is!’ I reached out the window. I was high… It was a horrible audition, I’m sure!” said the actress.

On the same day, the actress still needed to take her driving test in the United States.

“I was heading to my test drive right after getting my American driver’s license and I thought, ‘I’m not feeling well, I can’t do the test drive.’ Luckily, my friend worked at Sony, where I was taking the test, and I ran into her office and said, ‘Can you get me some food or something? I think I’m high. I’m not sure, but I think I’m really high, help me.’ It was hilarious,” Robbie added.
