What are some cool facts that most of us don't know?

  • Formation of a black hole

A {black hole} form’s when the core of a — star run’s out of fuel and collapses under it’s own weight — This collapse will triggers a massive {supernova explosion} — and If the re tomaining core of the star is about 4 time’s the mass of our Sun gravity will crushes it into an infinitely small dense point in time called a singularity a black hole will them be formed

SomeFun Fact about Black hole’s

1 — Definition of a Black Hole A black hole is a region in space where gravity is so powerful that nothing, not even light, can escape. This extraordinary phenomenon occurs when massive stars undergo gravitational collapse.

2 — Event Horizon The event horizon is the boundary around a black hole, marking the point of no return. Beyond this threshold, the gravitational pull becomes so immense that even light can't escape.

3 — Singularity At the heart of a black hole lies the singularity, an infinitely dense point where the known laws of physics break down, rendering it a profound mystery for scientists.

4 — Stellar-Mass Black Holes Stellar-mass black holes are the most common variety, typically 3 to 20 times the mass of our Sun. They result from the explosive death of massive stars, leading to the formation of a black hole.

What are some really cool geographical facts?

  1. Russia is so large that it spreads over 11 different time zones. When one side of Russia has a morning breakfast at 8 am; the other side enjoys evening snacks at 7 pm

2.The largest ocean in the world, Pacific Ocean, is antipode of itself at some points. There are some points in this massive ocean where if someone takes a dip in the ocean, travels through the core, and comes out on the opposite side, then they would still be in the Pacific Ocean.

3. 22 of the 25 largest volcanic eruptions in the last 11,700 years occurred in the ‘Ring of Fire’.

4.Around 90% of the world population lives in the northern hemisphere.

5. It’s forbidden for airplanes to fly over the Taj Mahal

6. The Rivers originating from Tibetan Plateau are the source of living for almost 2.7 Billion people in the World!!!

7. Himalayan Mountain ranges are the only one of its kind to spread over six countries.

8. Istanbul is the largest city in the world that is on two different continents.

9. Finland and North Korea are separated by just one country.

The reason I say one country is from North Korea you can get to Finland by only through Russia without accessing the borders of other countries.

10. Greenland is not bigger than Africa.

There is some real confusion here.

Is it actually possible for planets like Mustafar or Kamino to exist, or are they just cool sci-fi concepts?

The oceanic Kamino planet from Star Wars could mostly exist except for its constant raging storm. The Mustafar lava world is the imagination gone too far off the scientific rails.

The story of the Kamino planet is that it’s inhabited by Kaminoans, shown above, a sentient species that established an advanced technological civilization when their planet still had continents, but the end of a long ice age caused the landmasses to be flooded, and the Kamino became an ocean world. Kaminoans then built cities on stilts that rise above the water.

This is mostly plausible. One of the most difficult aspects of planets like Earth is the fine line between the amount of water they have. A little too much, and it could be a global ocean planet. Earth might initially have had only one continent rising above the water when plate tectonics began. It’s not difficult to imagine a world where this fine line between the amounts of water needed to cover all landmasses is narrower, and an ice age could trap this much at the poles, causing the continents to be revealed and flooded after a change in climate and the end of the ice age.

It’s more difficult, though, to accept that there would be a raging, constant storm with heavy rainfall. A planet without landmasses, with a nearby large moon and a thicker atmosphere, could indeed have had stronger winds and more precipitation. Fast spinning could make storms more severe, but there would need to be some calmer days.

The Mustafar is just outright not plausible. In Star Wars lore, it's described as a volcanic world orbiting between two gas giants, which causes intense volcanic activity. I don’t see it working this way. Such a planet wouldn’t be stable. It would make more sense if Mustafar were a moon of a huge gas giant, and intense tidal effects would cause the bending of its crust and volcanism similar to that of Io, Jupiter's moon.

However, in Star Wars, Mustafar has a breathable atmosphere and is inhabited by advanced organisms, including a bug-like sentient species. Where do they get oxygen to breathe from, since the planet is a lava world without any water, oceans, or forests where photosynthetic organisms could produce oxygen? The only workable solution would be if this lava environment were located on a large continent surrounded by a global water ocean, but even then, we run into problems with the volcanism and magma being just too intense for a water ocean to be plausible alongside it.

Therefore, Mustafar is the author's imagination going too far to make it plausible.

What are some cool lesser-known facts about Stephen Hawking?

 (I) Stephen Hawking once tried to find potential time travellers by throwing a party and only sending out invitations after the party.

(II) Hawking was born on Galileo's 300 death anniversary and died on Einstein's birth date.

(III) Stephen said "outside of our own universe lies another different universe-- and in that universe, Zayn is still in one direction."

(IV) Hawking outlived his life expectancy due to ALS by over 50 years.

(V) He is the only person to ever portray himself in the star Trek universe.

(VI) When asked what his IQ was, Stephen said "I have no idea. People who boast about their IQ are losers."

(VII) Timothy Hawking added swear words to his dad's (Hawking) voice synthesiser as a prank.

(VIII) In his final book Brief Answers to big questions Stephen mentioned "there is no god in the universe and no one directs our fate."

(IX) When Stephen was 9, he was ranked as a dull student in the Class.

(X) Stephen got married & divorced twice.

(XI) He could speak upto 15 words per minute, that too with a help of a speech generating device.

What are some cool facts about space that most people don't know?

  1. All planets and satellites are spheroidal??

NO. Satellites of Mars, Phobos and Deimos are are very uneven in shape. All the celestial object which stay in space for a long time turns spherical ( or ellipsoidal) due to effect of gravity ( nature loves symmetry). This might be because the satellites are captured from nearby asteroid belt which are not essentially spherical. Also satellite of neptune, Proteus is not symmetrical.

2. Hottest planet

Venus. Yes, though Mercury is closer to sun but its not the hottest, it is so because atmosphere of Venus contains high amount of carbon Di oxide. Which causes extensive green house effect (No wonder why women are from Venus).

3. High magnetic field of Jupiter

Jupiter's magnetic field is result if its gravitational forces. Jupiter mainly consists of hydrogen as main element. Gravitational force is so high here that hydrogen atoms fuse and show metallic nature. This causes high magnetic field.

4. Density of Saturn

Density of Saturn is 687 kg per meter cube. That's less than water. Hence it will actually float in water.

Saturn also has polar flattening of 0.098 which is highest in solar system. This basically means its very much away from being spherical. Or say it has very high equatorial buldging.

5. Rotation period of greater planets

Greater planets like Jupiter, saturn, Uranus and neptune have very low rotational periods. That is they rotate at very high speed. For example rotation period of Uranus is 0.720 days ( that is 72% of earths day) that is around 17 hours.

6. Not all natural satellites originated from their primary planet.

There are satellites of distant planets of our solar system ( like Nereid of Neptune) which were captured from outer solar system into Neptune's orbit.

It can be seen by their unusual orbit around the Neptune that they were captured.

7. Pluto has three satellites.

Yes our small and fallen brother has three satellites. More than us. One of which, Charon is quite big relative to its primary planet (10–15% of Pluto's mass). Other two are recently discovered ( 2005 P1 and 2005 P2).

8. Satellites of Jupiter.

Largest satellite of our solar syastem., ganymede is larger than mercury and Pluto. Its radius is 2631 km.

Thanks.

What are some cool facts about Russia?

Mostly from the top of my head:

  • Russia has 11 time zones.
  • Upon successfully invading Russia and conquering St. Petersburg (then called Leningrad), Hitler actually planned to hold a large celebration in a restaurant called the Hotel Astoria. The restaurant still stands today.
  • The deepest and largest freshwater lake in the world is Lake Baikal, located in the south of Siberia, with a depth of 2,442 ft (744.4 m) and a shore length of 1,300 mi (2,100 km). It’s very beautiful. And look at those gorgeous methane bubbles!
  • Tetris, arguably the famous puzzle video game of all time, originated in Russia (specifically the USSR). It was developed in 1984 by the artificial intelligence researcher Alexey Pazhitnov, and its first playable version was completed while he was working for the Soviet Academy of Sciences. Its theme music is also based on a Russian folk song, called “Korobeinki”.
  • The Hermitage Museum in St. Petersburg has cats patrolling the basements to rid them of mice. That practice originates in the 18th century, from the times of the Empress Elizabeth of Russia, who was also Peter the Great’s daughter, who made sure that domestic cats be placed in the palace to control the ongoing mice infestation that filled the basements and kitchens. It worked out well, so the queen decided to let them remain there, doing their job keeping the palace rodent-free (and adorable as well). The cats have remained on the grounds since then, with the exception of a few dangerous periods such as WWII.
  • Subbotnik, typically occurring around the weekends, were days of unpaid volunteer work in which the residents of cities and towns would help each other out and work together to tidy the streets. It was more common during the Soviet era, but is still practiced in some Russian cities today.
  • The word “vodka” comes from вода (voda), meaning “water”.
  • Serfdom was abolished in the Russian Empire in 1861, only four years before slavery would come to be abolished in the US in 1865.
  • The reason why the Red Square in Moscow is called that way has nothing to do with the Soviet Union. The word красный, or krasniy, in archaic Russian meant not only “red”, but also “beautiful”. In addition, that word was only applied to a handful of buildings in the square, such as its main tower, for example.

What are some cool facts about Russia?

1 ) The most beautiful metro in the world is definitely in Moscow, Russia.

2 ) Annually, 500,000 people are dying in Russia due to crimes and illnesses provoked by alcohol.

3 ) In 2009 Gorbachev recorded an album of Russian romantic ballads.

4 ) The first Russian child to receive the vaccine against smallpox was called "Vaccinov“.

5 ) The motto of Russia's nuclear strike missile force is: "After us is silence."

6 ) In September 1998, eight thousand teachers from Altai Republic, Siberian Federal District were paid in vodka.

7 ) In the 18th Century, a woman from Russia gave birth to 69 kids, 16 pairs of twins, 7 sets of triplets and 4 sets of quadruplets in just 40 years.

8 ) In 1698 Peter the Great, the Emperor of Russia, established a tax on beard. If you wanted to wear a beard you had to pay two half-kopeks every time you entered a city if you were a peasant and 100 rubles per year if you were a rich merchant.

P.S. I really don’t know why Putin doesn’t have a beard. Someone should tell him.
