Is eating dry fruits at night, good or bad?

Additionally, eating a handful of dried fruit before bedtime may help promote good sleep, as some studies suggest that certain types of dried fruit have natural sleep-inducing properties. Therefore, whether it's in the morning or at night, eating a handful of dried fruit can benefit overall health and well-being.

Almonds. Just a handful of these and you'll be dozing off in no time. Pasquella says almonds contain tryptophan and magnesium, which both help to naturally reduce muscle and nerve function while also steadying your heart rhythm. Almond butter or peanut butter will also work.

Eating Dry Fruits don't really have either good or bad time. But to achieve maximum health benefits of dry fruits it is advised to eat it early in the morning. The best time to eat dry fruits and nuts are mainly morning. Though it is a very good for our health, it should be consumed in limited quantity every day.

These nuts are sweet in flavour and are consumed raw & roasted, and people also use them in making chocolate products like chocolate spreads. Since these nuts are rich in tryptophan, the amino acid that promotes sleepiness, the best time to eat them is at night.

Dried fruit can boost your fiber and nutrient intake and supply your body with large amounts of antioxidants. However, they are also high in sugar and calories, and can cause problems when eaten in excess. For this reason, dried fruit should only be eaten in small amounts, preferably along with other nutritious foods.

Why should we not eat cucumber at night?

Cucumber is one of the best choices for body weight reduction and skin improvement; however, cucumber consumption at night is not a good choice because cucumber contains too much water and also has fiber content. These two things will be causing digestion issues, bloating, and also a lack of sleep.

They contain too much water, which can also increase urination late at night; therefore, it is better to avoid cucumbers or at least eat a lesser amount of cucumber.

Consuming too much cucumber in noon time is a best choice to keep the body hydrate and also improving digestion process.

This means that its high water content makes the bladder fill up more often, which disrupts your sleep cycle when you have to get up several times at night to relieve yourself.

What does the night sky look like on Mars?

Essentially identical to Earth - except:

  1. You’d be able to see Earth up there in the sky as a small light blue-ish dot - and (obviously) you wouldn’t see Mars as just another bright dot because you’re standing on it! Earth would appear somewhat like Venus does to us - you’d see Earth in the sky around dawn and dusk.
  2. You might also be able to see the Moon…again, at the right time during the Moon’s phases…which would be different from the phases as seen from Earth depending on the time of year on Earth and Mars at the time.
  3. You’d also be able to see Mars’ two tiny moons Phobos and Deimos which would have phases, as our Moon does. Phobos zips across the sky about three times a day - so you could be able to see it more than once every night - while Deimos orbits once every 30 hours - so there will be nights when you can’t see it at all. This is a time-lapse made by the “Spirit” rover.

Because of Mars’ very thin atmosphere - your view of the night sky won’t be inhibited by nearby cities (assuming there are any nearby cities!) due to “sky glow” - so you should be able to see the Milky Way and WAY more stars than you can see here from most inhabited areas on Earth.

It’s also notable that sunrises and sunsets on Mars are weirdly opposite to Earth. Instead of blue skies with orange sunsets - Mars has orange skies with blue sunsets. That’s going to take some getting used to!

I wonder how much this will confuse us in to thinking that it’s daytime when in fact it’s dawn or dusk?

These kinds of human instinctual-level thing will probably be only properly understood once people are living there.

Certainly we could have problems getting to sleep because of the blue light levels…we see that here on Earth if you watch too much TV or other screens when you should be getting ready to go to bed.

But doubtless we could arrange for light levels in the habitats of Mars to change color in an Earth-like manner in order to solve that problem.
