What are some secrets about Goddess Sita?

 She has infinite secrets! She is the secret behind all secrets! she is Mahamaya herself. She is unknowable and her infinite essence can never be understood by our tiny brains. She is the secret of all secrets. The weaver of destiny and the mistress of the Panchamahabhuta’s.

As we can never define her glory, we can only wonder at the unfathomable unthinkable form of Shri Janaki ji, therefore for limited Jiva’s Goswami Tulsidas ji has instructed as follows-

Shri Ramcharitmanas (Balkand) - Goswami ji himself says it is impossible to explain her glory and falls short of words.

Siya sobhā nahiṃ jāi bakhānī,
Jagadambikā rūpa guṇa khānī

Shri Sita’s glory cannot be described in words. She is the supreme mother of the world with infinite source of forms and attributes.

There is no way to describe the glory of Ma Maithili who simply tolerated Ravana so that he could just be slain by Bhagavan Shri Rama. Ravana was living at Mata Sita’s grace. If She wanted she would have destroyed him easily. This Ma Sita herself warns Ravana about.

Valmiki Ramayan Sundara Khand

O Dashagriva! You deserve to be burnt down. Yet, I am not burning you down with my energy. I belong to the intelligent Rama and you are incapable of abducting me. There is no doubt that this has been ordained by destiny for the sake of you being killed. You used your bravery against your brother, the lord of riches, who possessed strength. However, for Rama, why did you resort to stealing his wife?’

This is well repeated even by Hanuman ji, that Ma Sita can take on the form of Kalaratri and destroy Ravana and his whole Lanka if she desires.

Valmiki Ramayan Sundara Khand

"Know her, whom you recognize as Seetha and who stays in your captivity, to be none else than Kalaratri (the goddess presiding over and responsible for dissolution), who can destroy the entire Lanka."

We can say that Mata Sita herself was the destroyer of Ravana. She orchestrated his entire destruction through her Leela. This is repeated by Hanuman ji.

Valmiki Ramayan Yuddha Khand - .

"O the divine lady! I am telling a pleasant news and again eulogizing you. O Seetha, the knower of righteousness! Rama accomplished this great victory in the battle, because of your power. Be free from your grief and be comfortable."

Valmiki Ramayana Sundara Kanda- The three worlds which are created from her glory, is not even a fraction of her absolute essence.

Were the dominion of the Three Worlds on one side and Sita, born of Janaka, on the other, the former would not equal a fraction of the latter; such is the virtuous daughter of the magnanimous King of Mithila, who is wholly devoted to her lord.

Mata Sita is Mula Prakriti herself who in union with Shri Rama creates preserves and destroys everything. Thus state the Vedas.

śrīrāma-sānnidhya-vaśāj jagad-ānanda-kāriṇī |
utpatti-sthiti-saṃhāra-kāriṇī sarva-dehinām |
sītā bhagavatī jñeyā mūlaprakṛti-saṃjñitā ||

In union with Shri Rama, the universe She sustains; All embodied beings She brings forth, sustains and withdraws. Know Sita as the divine, the supreme goddess, known as Mūlaprakṛti (the fundamental nature).

She is the mother of the Panchamahabhuts and all glorious attributes.

Adbhut Ramayana

Janaki is an image or personification of Prakriti. She is the primary primordial force present even before the creation of the basic Bhuts (elements) of life came into existence. She is endowed with great, majestic, stupendous, and wonderful virtues of powers, strength, potential, and prowess. She is an embodiment of the rewards obtained by doing Tapa (severe austerities, penances, and observing strict religious vows. She embodies success in obtaining heaven (or an exalted stature, both in this world as well as in heaven. She is majesty, fame, glory, grandeur, renown, success, accomplishment, good fortunes, and potential personified, and she embodies all of them in herself.

She is the very being who manifests as the Vedas and all gods. What greater secret exists? She is the secret which can never be known.

Sita Upanishad (Atharva Ved)

10. She here is all the Vedas; all the gods; all the worlds; all renown; all virtue; all ground, effect and cause; the great Beauty of the Lord of gods. She has a form which is different and yet the same. She is the essence of the intelligent and the inert. She is all, from Brahma to stocks and stones. She is embodied, owing to distinctions of attributes and activities. She assumes the forms of gods, sages, men and Gandharvas; of demons, fiends, spirits, ghosts, goblins, etc.; and of the elements, sense-organs, mind and the vital breaths.

The Vedas say that Ma Jagadambika Shri Sita, is Kalatit which means she is beyond all boundaries of time. She is the most ancient secret to exist and therefore can never be known.

Tara Sara Upanishad clearly calls Mata Sita as Kalatita which literally means NOT BOUND BY TIME or TIMELESS

4. Kalatita is known as the goddess Sita Herself. That which is beyond is the Paramatman named Sri Rama and is the highest Purusha. All this is the explanation of the letter Om, which is the past, the present and future and which is other than these (viz.,) Tattva, Mantra, Varna (colour), Devata (deity), Chhandas (metre), Rik, Kala, Sakti and Srishti (creation). He who knows this becomes immortal. (Thus is) Yajur-Veda with the second foot”.

the Adbhuta Ramayana agrees with this statement that she is even beyond Mahakala. That beyond Kala is Mahakala, but that beyond Mahakala is her.

Ayodhyānīlayā vīrā mahākālasamudbhavā |
Vidyāsvīkṛtasiddhā vidyādharapatiḥ || 132 ||"

You are a resident of Ayodhya (as Sita)1. You are brave, valiant, strong, courageous, heroic, bold, daring, mighty and eminent2. You are the creator of Maha Kaal3. You act most wisely and sagaciously, because you are adroit and enlightened like those who are known as Vidyadhars 4. You have mystical powers, are accomplished, successful and fulfilled5. You are formless, attributeless and subtle like the Vidyadhars.

What secrets do you find in temples in India?

 When Shri Tirupati Balaji asks you for a necklace of 108 gold coins!

Yes, this is a true incident of 1980.

Mr. Prasad, personal secretary to former Prime Minister Narasimha Rao, was appointed as Chief Officer at Tirupati at that time.

One day he received a call from a servant of the temple: -

"Sir! Around 20 devotees have come here and are wishing to present a necklace made of gold coins to the Lord. They want have audience with lord wearing the same necklace."

In the Tirupati temple, it has been arranged since ancient times that any devotee who is offering jewelery and if he wants to see the Lord wearing it on the same day, then he also has to pay a fixed sum equivalent to the jewelery which is called “Vartan”.

In the old times, this system was implemented to create co-ordination between the king-emperors and the zamindars.

Prasad left for the temple immediately after listening to the phone.

When he went there, he saw 20 devotees were present there. Their(Devotees) chief Nagraj Rao, without knowing anything about Shri Prasad, started telling his story:

• I am a resident of Chikkamagaluru District Karnataka and have been working as a teacher for the last 20 years.

• 16 years ago, Shri Balaji appeared to me in a dream and said that “make me a gold necklace with 108 gold coins”. When I woke up in the morning, some devotees who came from home to visit Tirumala came to my house and offered laddus. I remembered my dream but I did not pay attention.

• That same night, I saw God in my dream and the previous night's order was repeated. The next day, I first told my whole family about the dream. We were so poor that we could not even buy 1 silver coin.

• In the end, the idea was that after making a necklace of 108 copper coins and offering a gold layer on it, we will offer it to Shri Balaji.

• But on the day the idea came, the Lord came again in the night in dream and said that you should offer gold, not copper.

• When the family heard this in the morning, they decided that it should be as the Lord desired. 16 years ago I was a lonely householder. There was some land which was barren. So, all of us, gave up food for a time and prepared 2 gold coins in 6 months out of the money left over from it.

• Time passed, other family members got good jobs. The land became fertile and the economic situation began to improve.

• Now after 16 years, we were able to get a necklace of 108 gold coins, which are painted with the Gods and Goddesses.

• On the day the necklace was made, the Lord came again in my dream and said, "The necklace is made, now I am happy. Do come to Tirumala with the whole family and offer me the necklace and see me. If there is any problem then a person (Only face shown) will help you there.

Saying this, Nagraj Rao fell silent.

But suddenly looking at the prasad, he said, "Oh you! You are the one about whom the Lord had said that this person will help you in every situation!"

Prasad was silent! His tears came out in Bhavatirek. Then many questions started emerging in the mind: -

• How can I get them to see the God while the God wore the necklace, as these devotees can't not pay the Vartan which is about 2 lakhs. They only have money left to go home. Far from Abhishek service, they cannot buy tickets even for normal service!

• What answer will I give to the temple trust, if I let them go against the rules!

• He has unwavering faith in God and God has appointed me to do his work. How can I break their trust!

These questions were resolved and Prasad immediately ordered his people "This is a special puja in Tirupati.

The next day, on Friday morning, all 20 devotees were offered abhishek and after that the same 108 gold coins necklace was given to Prabhu.

Premashru in the eyes of the family and on their lips were singing "Govinda! Govinda!"

After 16 years of penance, such visions were received!

After some time when the trust met them and this incident was told, all of them were Bhagavad Bhaktas, at first they were very happy and arranged that the Vartan tradition could be abandoned for special reasons and seeing the devotion of the devotee.

When you are disappointed with your heart, when you have lost from all sides, just close your eyes and say "Govinda!" Remember the name.

God definitely comes to help by taking the form of anyone.

What are some dark secrets of Juhi Chawla?

 Keeping the current controversy aside Juhi Chawla has had a successful and clean career with no dark secrets. However there are some things that are under the carpet and it depends on the person whether to term it as dark or not.

The biggest secret was when Juhi revealed why she planned a secret marriage with Jay Mehta. They knew each other before she entered the industry. It was only when Juhi was expecting her first child the couple became the talk of the town. Juhi was under constant fear that she will lose her stardom if the secret is revealed.

Aamir and Juhi gave several hits but the two were not in talking terms for years as during the shoot of the song, “Ankhiyan Tu Mila Le" from Ishq, Aamir was constantly pulling her leg and the actress left the shoot and did not turned up the next day too.

Aamir and Indra Kumar went to her house and apologized. Aamir later confessed that he was a bit egoistic even after the incident but after a few years everything was sorted out through a phone call.

This is a bit funny. Juhi Chawla used to meet Imran Khan (Aamir Khan's nephew) as he used to accompany the star on the sets. However the relationship continued for 3–4 days until Imran thought of giving the ring to someone else and took it back.

What are the dark secrets of Kalapani jail which is also called as Cellular jail in Andaman that every Indian should know?

 " KALAPANI "....The name itself brings chills down the spines. Life here would be filled with torture, hunger and loneliness. They would be worked like slaves. Some would go mad, others would be driven to suicide. This place would form one of the darkest chapters in India’s struggle for freedom.Below are the real facts of Cellular Jail in which Britishers tortured our Indians in such a way that prisoners wish they could die instead of this brutal torture.

1) The Cellular Jail is also, termed as Kala Paani. Kal means “time or death” while Paani means “water“. The name itself gives shivers to prisoners.
2) Construction of this Cellular jail started in the year 1896 and ended in 1906 under the advise of the Demon named " Charles James Lyall". The main intention to build this jail was to decrease the spirits of our Indian freedom fighters who fought against Britishers. Whenever Britishers think that they have threat against a person, then they would simply put them in this jail.
3) Cellular Jail is a massive three-storeyed structure with seven wings of unequal lengths, radiating from a central watch tower, shaped like spokes of a wheel as shown in the below figure.

4) Once you go in then it is highly impossible to escape because your movements are constantly observed by guards.The watch tower housed the alarm bell and guardsmen kept an eye on the prisoners all the time. The concept of this design is that the prisoners literally have no idea whether they are being watched or not.

5) If you manage to escape from guards you have to swim across the sea with your wounded body which I think it is highly impossible. And also there is a small island nearby this jail and if you manage to reach there by facing difficulties, you will be killed by wild animals or tribes living there.Even if you manage to escape from these wild animals and tribes then you will see nothing but sea so death is the only option. This is the view from cellular jail. 👇

6) Vinayak Damodar Savarkar, Batukeshwar Dutt, Barindra kumar Ghosh, Bhai Parmanand, Ganesh Damodar Savarkar, Hare Krishna Konar, Mahavir Singh, Mohan kishore Namadas, Mohit Moitra, Sachindra Nath Sanyal, Shiv Verma, Sohan Singh Bhakna, Sudhangshu Dasgupta, Yogendra Shukla were some famous revolutionaries who were tortured in this Cellular jails.
7) It has 696 cells, one for each person. The name Cellular Jail is derived from its unique feature as it has only cells and no dormitories. Each cell measures 13 1/2 ‘x 7’, secured by a heavy iron grill door with a specially designed latch system. Inadequate and congested jail.

8)Besides the barred door, the cellular wing itself had prison bars giving the whole area a double security.

9) Prisoners were forced to work on the oil grinding mill was all the more terrible and caused several deaths.

10)The most difficult work was coir-pounding and oil-grinding. Each one was given the dry husk of twenty coconuts. The husk had first to be placed on a piece of wood and then to be beaten with a wooden hammer till it became soft. Then the outer skin had to be removed. Then it was dipped in water and moistened and then again one had to pound it. By sheer pounding the entire husk inside dropped off, only the fibers remaining. These fibers had then to be dried in the sun and cleaned. Each one was expected to prepare daily a roll of such fibers weighing one seer.

11)Punishment was inhuman, it ranged from extra hours on the grinding mill to standing handcuffed for a week, to bar-fetters for six months, to confinement in solitary cells, to four days of starvation diet and crossbars for ten days, a punishment which compelled the victim to keep his legs apart.

12) If they fail to complete the task which were assigned to them, then that person would be tied on flogging stand wearing punishment dress(which is shown below) and then he gets continuous blows on his buttocks and purposefully they would hit on the same spot until the skin layer is blown away. 13) There was no light in those prisons and was completely pitch dark. Only one prisoner was kept in each prison and there is no chance to communicate with others.

14) Three bowls were given to the prisoners. One is to urinate and pass stools ,one is for drinking water and the other is for eating food. Those three bowls were kept in their respective prisons. It was not sufficient for prisoners to urinate because the bowl was too small so prisoners used to urinate on the floor and eat on that same floor as well. There are no washrooms and bedrooms in this cellular jails. Those bowls were cleaned out by the prisoners when they were out the next morning.

15) Daily after working hard for hours prisoners would get unhygienic food which consists of worms, mosquitoes and stones.

16) Dirty Rain water was given for prisoners to drink.

17) Many Prisoners died in those prisons after getting exposed to these unhygienic conditions.
18) Mahavir Singh, Mohan Kishore , Mohan Moitra started hunger strike strike till 45 days for providing unhygienic food and for not having toilet seats but instead Britishers started a process called force feed where one is forced to eat food against his will. After doing so, those food particles got stuck in their wind pipes and they died eventually. Their bodies were thrown into the Andaman waters.

19) The place where prisoners were given meager meals, right opposite to that are the gallows. Though closed within a building, the cries of the men being hung could be easily heard across the mess. It was designed so that psychologically it would affect the other prisoners who ate in the mess.

20) Veer Savarkar and his brother Babarao Savarkar were put in different prisons. Untill two years they didn't had any idea that they were in same hell.
21) Britishers made our freedom fighters to build other jails for themselves without knowing that they will be placed in those prisons which they have made with their own hands.
22) Those who fight against Britishers were forced to drink Urine and eat poop.

23)You will be surprised to know that prisoners were tied to the mouth of cannons and they were blown up.

24) Barindra kumar Ghosh who is one of the greatest revolutionaries of India mentioned in his book - "The suffering we had to undergo was perhaps entirely due to our destiny. No individual person could be held responsible for that. All credit should be given to the jail regulations only and perhaps to a wilful God.".

25)Records suggest around 80,000 Indians were sent to Andaman as punishment over a period of some 80 years from 1860. Thousands of them were shot, hanged or tortured to death.

26)This jail was later taken over by the Japanese troops in the year 1942 at the time of World War II.

27) Scotsman David Barry, the jailor between 1909 and 1931, was infamous for his insane cruelty. “While you are here, I am your god,” was the cry with which he welcomed prisoners.

28)David Barry(jailer) once asked Ullaskar Dutta to glean three litres of oil in a day. Ullaskar refused because even oxen can glean only two litres a day. They fettered his arms raised to the ceiling, and his feet to the ground. He stood motionless for three days for he could not move. When they untied him finally, he collapsed senseless. He went mad after he woke up. It is believed that some of the prisoners went mad while going through this brutual torture.

29) Do you know what are the demands of our freedom fighters in this cellular jail?

We want soap to clean ourselves.
We want beds to sleep on.

We want edible food.

Let us study for we are political prisoners.

Allow us to communicate with each other.

In the end, the British relented and accepted the prisoners’ demands. I think you can understand the pain and frustration our beloved freedom fighters who have experienced in this prison. Finally prisoners were sent home between September 1937 and January 1938.

30)The Sikhs have made a lot of sacrifices in the freedom struggle and their number was the second highest even in the list of political prisoners imprisoned at the Cellular Jail. This is really great and sad as well because their names are completely whitewashed. Here is the list👇. Below numbers belong to only famous freedom fighters but we really don't know how many real fighters were imprisoned here.

Spending a single day in this jail is like nightmare for everyone. Just imagine the condition of Veer Savarkar who was improsined here for almost 13 years. Savarkar, then aged 28, was convicted for revolting against the Morley-Minto reforms and was sentenced to 50-years imprisonment and transported on 4 July 1911 to the infamous Cellular jail in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands and was released on 6th January 1924.

The walls of this cellular jail truly knows the real pain of our freedom fighters.We should be really thankful to these legends. Their sacrifice cannot be measured in words and saddest part is even after experiencing trauma, their true stories are not mentioned in our so called social text books and how can we expect coming generations to remember them?

A big Salute to all the freedom fighters who fought for us selflessly and sacrificed their life after experiencing dreadful punishments.The reason we are enjoying today is all because of the freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives. Forgetting our freedom fighters is like forgetting our country.
