I just did a simple Google search to check his net worth. It says that the richest man in India, Mukesh Ambani is worth 7,630 crore USD. Taking into consideration today’s exchange rate of Rs 73.51 per US Dollar, it amounts to Rs 5.6 lakh crore rupees. Or to give you the exact amount, Rs 560000,00,00,000.
This is to be distributed between 138 crore population. Why would Ambani even want to do that? He is a businessman, not an industrialist. This kind of noble deed can be done by people like Ratan Tata, not Mukesh Ambani. But anyway, let’s consider this hypothetically.
5.6 lakh crore rupees to be divided among 138 crore population leaves us with Rs 4,060 rupees for every citizen in the country. This is actually not a paltry figure, this in fact gives you an idea of how huge Ambani’s riches are! Some people in India are worth even less than 4,000 thousand rupees and then there he is!
But then by the time this money gets distributed among us, which for sure would take at least 2 years, he would probably make another 1,000 crore USD by then!
