The Sanctuary of Madonna della Corona is a church located in Italy, built more than 2,000 feet above sea level into a vertical cliff on the Italian mountain Baldo before Valdadige.

 It looks like it's suspended in mid-air and it was originally a secluded spot for holy people to come for contemplation. The church was built in 1530 and has become a place for pilgrimage. Due to its remote location, it was never completely destroyed and managed to survive into the 20th century. In the 1970s, an Italian architect renovated the church, keeping as much of the original art as possible.
