Jacqueline was crowned Miss Sri Lanka in 2006 and the same year she represented her country for Miss Universe.
Jacqueline was supposed to make her debut in Salman Khan - Ajay Devgun starrer London Dreams, but as the film was getting delayed she opted for Aladdin starring Ritesh Deshmukh and Amitabh Bachchan which released in 2009.
She shot to fame with her special appearance song “Dhanno” from the film HOUSEFULL which released in 2010.
Jacqueline feels that she is a lucky charm as far as sequels are concerned. Her sequels and further installments have been quite successful.
She likes to be a part of sequels as it further gives a scope to be a part of the franchise. Her lucky charm with sequels started with Murder 2
which was followed by Housefull 2, Race 2, Housefull 3, Judwaa 2, Baaghi 2 and Race 3.
She can speak fluently in French, Spanish and Arabic languages.

Jacqueline is associated with PETA and has supported several campaigns to prevent cruelty to animals.
She will be seen with Akshay Kumar for the fourth time in their upcoming film Bachchan Pandey.
She was a judge in the dance reality show Jhalak Dikhla Jaa - 9th Season.
