 Keeping the current controversy aside Juhi Chawla has had a successful and clean career with no dark secrets. However there are some things that are under the carpet and it depends on the person whether to term it as dark or not.

The biggest secret was when Juhi revealed why she planned a secret marriage with Jay Mehta. They knew each other before she entered the industry. It was only when Juhi was expecting her first child the couple became the talk of the town. Juhi was under constant fear that she will lose her stardom if the secret is revealed.

Juhi made some bold statements in the Rapid Fire Section of Koffee with Karan. On being asked which actress in Bollywood needs a stylist and therapist, she promptly replied Parineeti Chopra.

On many occasions she took the credit of making up careers of other actresses mainly Raveena Tandon and Karishma Kapoor as the two benefited because of the films she refused.

In a live show where Juhi and Tabu were the anchors she clearly mentioned on stage that she is responsible for making Tabu's career as some of her left over films were Tabu's gain.

For Dil To Pagal Hai she said that she did not wanted to play a second fiddle to Madhuri Dixit. However years later she starred with her in Gulaab Gang.

Aamir and Juhi gave several hits but the two were not in talking terms for years as during the shoot of the song, “Ankhiyan Tu Mila Le" from Ishq, Aamir was constantly pulling her leg and the actress left the shoot and did not turned up the next day too.

Aamir and Indra Kumar went to her house and apologized. Aamir later confessed that he was a bit egoistic even after the incident but after a few years everything was sorted out through a phone call.

This is a bit funny. Juhi Chawla used to meet Imran Khan (Aamir Khan's nephew) as he used to accompany the star on the sets. It was at that impressionable age that Imran decided to marry Juhi which she accepted. Imran Khan even presented her a ring. However the relationship continued for 3–4 days until Imran thought of giving the ring to someone else and took it back.

Attitude, speaking her heart out or whatever, the talented actress was not a part of big controversies.

Juhi Chawla says she is responsible for Karisma Kapoor's stardom. Is this true?

 Here one can remember that Juhi Chawla and Karsima Kapoor acted together in 1994s film Andaz opposite Anil Kapoor, it was the remake of Tamil film Sundara Kandam of 1992.

At some point, it appears to be true that Juhi Chawla is responsible for Karisma's stardom because once Juhi Chawla had taken wrong decisions in her filmy career and she rejected good offers to act in the big films like Raja Hindustani and Dil To Pagal Hai and these two films became blockbusters and brought Karisma Kapoor a stardom. But it's also true that Karisma Kapoor did put good efforts, gave her best performances in both the films and she utilized those opportunities in a good way.

Before these two films Karisma acted in several films but they didn't receive that much of success which she received through Raja Hindustani and Dil To Pagal Hai.

Later Juhi Chawla regretted for her wrong decisions for rejecting to work in block-buster films like 'Raja Hindustani in 1996 and ‘Dil To Pagal Hai’ in 1997. Juhi Chawla stated in an interview that she was the real cause for Karishma's stardom and herself a stupid person.

In Raja Hindustani, which was released in 1996, Karisma looked beautiful and impressed the audience with her stunning performance. This film has become Karisma's biggest hit and one of her best performances. Indeed, Juhi’s rejection became a turning point in Karisma's filmy career.

The reason for Juhi Chawla to reject to act in Dil To Pagal Hai was she had to act as a second leading actress that too beside her strong competitor Madhuri Dixit, it was not acceptable for Juhi. Not only Juhi, many actresses like Manisha Koirala, Kajol, Urmila Matondkar had rejected the role because they were not ready to perform as a second leading actress. It had become a challenge for Yash Chopra to get a heroine to act alongside Madhuri.

Earlier even Karsima hesitated to accept the role but when Yash Chopra re-approched Karisma she agreed to do it and she took it as a challenge, acted very confidently and won National Film Award for Best Supporting Actress for Dil To Pagal Hai. Apart from Juhi Chawla the actresses who rejected the role in Dil To Pagal Hai also definitely might have regretted for their wrong decisions.

Aamir Khan wanted Juhi to play the female lead and went to her house to personally narrate the script for her

Dharmesh Darshan too went with Aamir and Juhi sounded impressed and gave her oral OK to the dates

However a few days later Aziz Mirza, a very close friend to both SRK and Juhi Chawla invited her to dinner and offered her YES BOSS and she couldn't say to no to SRK

So she accepted YES BOSS whose 8 weeks clashed with Raja Hindustani

Dharmesh Darshan was OK with the shoot schedule modification but Aamir Khan was FURIOUS

Aamir saw SRK as a rival and felt he should have won the filmfare for Rangeela over SRKs win in 1996.

During the shooting of ISHQ , there was a major ego issue

Aamir Khan devoted his full time to one film and kept his dates for ISHQ only. He wanted a handful of retakes including a scene where he mimics Sadashiv Amrapurkar (a cringe scene where he applies layers of brown color agent and a wig)

Juhi unfortunately didn't turn up for two days and the entire shoot was wasted with Aamir Khan sitting there the whole day

The version was Juhi had flown to Switzerland to shoot a few dance moves for a song with SRK for Yes Boss to wrap the shoot and for Visa reasons she had to fly down without any delay

However later on , Juhi said the reason for why she didn't come on sets for two days was because Aamir pulled a prank on her and she was so upset she decided to not come to the set for 2 days

I don't believe the second version

Actresses were never the kind to miss a days shooting unless it was an SOS

Mohan Babu is known to have physically slapped Sakshi Shivanand twice for a 3 hour delay

Plus Aamir is ultra professional and his pranking in sets is highly unlikely as other actresses like Madhuri have never made such a claim, always calling Aamir professional and a perfectionist

Who is the most prettier between Juhi Chawla and Madhuri Dixit?

 This question is really very tough to answer as both of them are all- time legendary beauties that have carved an important place for themselves in our hearts.

If I talk about my point- of- view, then the answer would be Juhi Chawla. Madhuri Dixit is definitely better in terms of dancing but according to me, Juhi beats Madhuri incase of beauty.

Yes, definitely most of us think and feel that the answer of this question is Madhuri Dixit only…..even though Juhi has a comparatively prettier and slim face.

For a proof, I would like to tell you that I am currently playing a survey-type game with my friends in which I provide them collages of the actresses and they have to choose the most beautiful one and the latest contest is among Juhi Chawla, Madhuri Dixit, Aishwarya Rai, Gauri Khan and Manisha Koirala. I was just counting the no of people/ persons who like them. For now, let’s just consider the choices between Juhi and Madhuri. I am suprised to tell you the fact that about five to six people have chosen Juhi and just a few more about seven to eight people have chosen Madhuri.

CONCLUSION: There are people who like Juhi more than Aishwarya, who is considered to me the most beautiful and no doubt, she’s so, and Madhuri, but maybe we are unable to find them, so just don’t believe one to be prettier than other by just considering what our friends, relatives and other known people like.

Infact, Juhi ji as well as Madhuri Ji share an equal rank in my favourite heroine list. They both rank No. 1.

But, am really sad to see that many of us have forgotten that they are among the super- beauties of 90’s.
