Which is the most overrated character in the Hindu mythology?

 

All the asuras are overrated characters. All of them be it Mahishasura, Tarakasura, Hiranyaksha, Hiranyakashipu, Ravana, Tripurasuras, Madhu-Kaitabha, Andhakasura, Bhandasura etc . The texts mention that they defeated some xyz gods and also deities beginning with Indra. Those references are taken literally ignoring what the devas are capable of doing.

The air that is inside beings is always in motion. If I have committed an evil act, let it free my breath of life. If I have committed an evil act, let fire, water, space, earth and air free my breath of life.’ Then a sacred voice spoke from the firmament. It echoed in all the directions and gladdened the great-souled monkeys. Vayu said, ‘O Raghava! This is the truth. I am the wind that is always in motion. O king! Maithili is without taint. Unite with your wife.’ Agni said, ‘O descendant of the Raghu lineage! I am the wind that resides in the bodies of all beings. O Kakutstha! Maithili has not committed a crime, even in the slightest way.’ Varuna said, ‘O Raghava! The juices in the bodies of beings owe their existence to me. I am asking you to accept Maithili back.’

So, the gods like Agni, Vayu and Varuna control the inner organs of all the beings including the Asuras. If they get serious, no asura I repeat no asura would’ve been the victors on the gods of heaven (not even speaking of tridev). One such act was done by Vayu

When you fell down on the summit of the mountain, your left cheekbone was shattered. Because of this, you have been known by the name of Hanumat. On seeing that you had been struck, Vayu, the bearer of scents, was himself extremely enraged and the wind ceased to blow in the three worlds. All the gods were terrified and the three worlds were agitated. The lords of the worlds sought the favours of the enraged wind god.

So if they desire Agnic an burn any asura from inside, Varuna can manipulate his body fluids and kill him, Vayu can choke him airless etc. Indra, Surya etc are the presiding deities of parts of body and they can manipulate them as well. So the Asuras are the most overrated characters across the texts.

Who is the most over-rated Bollywood actor/actress?

 In my opinion, I would consider the following as the most over-rated Bollywood actors

(A) Tiger Shroff

Now you may ask why?

HE HAS JUST DONE 2 FILMS AND IS ALREADY BEING DUBBED AS THE NEXT BIG THING IN BOLLYWOOD BY NONE OTHER THAN HIS ROLE MODEL “HRITIK ROSHAN”

• He has done 2 brilliant films which have been widely appreciated and surely deserve an Oscar nomination. Especially for the acting and dialogue delivery(Sarcasm is the key word here)

1. Heropanti( The guy he was holding would have acted better than Tiger)

2. Baaghi

• That is not all, he had also been nominated for the “best debut actor” for his film “Heropanti “

Now let us see him in the light of an entertainer

• Acting - Could not act to save his life.
• Body- One of the few positives and this is because he is a gymnast and a martial artist, Kudos to him for working so hard on his body.
• Dancing- Is a very good dancer but it feels weird seeing him dancing around heroines. Maybe it is his way of promoting women empowerment.(Rahuld Gandhi take a leaf out of his book)
• (1)Versatility - Has typecast himself as an action hero and He himself said that he models himself along the lines of Hritik Roshan .Do not see him doing anything different in the new future with his current skillset or coming near the level of his idol.

(B) Suraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty

• Suraj Pancholi is the son of Aditya Pancholi and Athiya Shetty is the daughter of Sunil Shetty. Star- kids spotted. It’s naturally assumed that they are super- talented the moment they were born.
• This film was launched by none other than “Salman Khan”. Enough said.
• But it does not end here. He had even won the Best Debut actor award for this film.

(C) Jacqueline Fernandez (sorry your bad acting cannot hide behind these glasses.

• She is a very beautiful women : AGREED
• She is a very good dancer : AGREED
• She is a very good actor : ARE YOU KIDDING ME ?
• She only plays the role of an “eye candy “in every film. So does she even act in her movies.
• She is basically a model who is in the industry because of her looks. But I wonder how she has survived for so long in the industry.

Which is the most overrated and underrated Indian city?

 The most overrated Indian city that I feel is Mumbai.

Nicknamed as the City of Dreams, Mumbai used to be the dream City for many people who came to the city in search of a job, starting a new business or achieving their dreams, but all that is in the past. Today, Mumbai is one of the most polluted cities in the world and the cost of living is sky high. It is probably the most expensive city to live in in India and, being in very close proximity to the sea, the humidity is always on the higher side and is prone to frequent floods.

I had a friend, an ex-colleague who started his career with me at TCS. After our training, he was posted to Mumbai and I came to Kolkata. He shared a 1-BHK flat with four other roommates — three slept on the bed and two slept on mattresses on the floor and their rent was 20,000 rupees a month! On top of that is the maddening crowds of the Mumbai local trains. It is a good city to visit if you are there for a week or so, stay at a fine hotel, visit the Marine Drive in the evenings, get your pictures clicked in front of the Gateway of India, visit the Elephanta Caves, but that's it. Do not extend your stay beyond that, because it isn't worth it.

While Kolkata is extremely underrated when it comes to listing the best cities to stay in, I would not consider Kolkata because of the summer heat and the humidity. Instead, Chandigarh is the city that I think is the most underrated. I was there in Chandigarh for a few days last year and I fell in love with the city. The city is well planned, which is probably why everything is in place over there. The roads are neat and clean, there is proper pavement everywhere and a dedicated bicycle track too! It is so convenient for vehicles, cycles as well as pedestrians.

The food is super cheap and delicious! The cost of living is quite decent and definitely not as overpriced as the metropolitan cities. Chandigarh doesn't have many sightseeing places, maybe that's the only downside to it. But it has some places, like the Sukhna Lake and the Rock Garden, which are some of the beautiful places to visit if you are in Chandigarh for a couple of days.

Why is Shraddha Kapoor considered a boring and overrated actress?

 I find her as a boring actress because of her repetitive and monotonous roles. You may find heras not boring because of her beautiful face.

So, I'm not sure about boring, but she's definitely overrated.

She's a product of nepotism.

She made her debut with teen patti and Luv ka the end, she was unnoticed.

Then she came up with Ashiqui 2 , which made her the world recognize her.

Then she was in fire and produced the films like Ek villain, Haider, ABC 2 .

Then she saw the downfall.

She's been active in the industry for 10 years nearly. Her good works are only four.

These are the only good works by Shraddha kapoor.

Can you remember her character in these films? She was just on the screen to impress her fans. I think she had a role of 20–30 minutes of role in these films.

Her contemporary actresses like Alia bhatt ( Raazi) , Deepika padukone ( piku) , Anushka sharma ( Pari) are capable of carrying a film on their shoulders.

She can't.

Her worst works include

She had no role in Baaghi 3 , Street dancer ( it was all Nora) , etc. Even If she hadn't been there in the films, the film would have moved smoothly.

Now coming to acting skills,

She's as worst as hell in terms of acting.

We can name a few decent ( decent, not good) performances in the movies like Aashiqui 2 , Ek villain, Haider etc.

She overacted in most of her films.

Why she's in a film?

To show her face

To show vulgarity

To irritate others with her cute voice

To cuss

To dance for two songs

Laugh or cry

That's it. Apart from these she hasn't tried something new.

She has played the role of girl next door in 90% of her films.

Ok, Haseena Parker and Stree are exceptional. But Haseena parkar is a flop only because of her acting skills and writing.

Sharddha is good at her beauty and dancing skills

But she's bad at acting, dialogue delivery and singing.
