12. Jann-Berghaus-Brücke in Leer/Germany. The ships which are built in the Meyer-Werft (Ship Yard) must be transferred from Papenburg down the river Ems to the North Sea. Every time a new cruise liner is ready built, this transfer is a great event in the area and thousands watch it along the journey to the north sea. See the video (that bridge at 2:20).

14. As dawn breaks on top of a mountain near the China-Vietnam border, hundreds of water-filled rice terraces reveal themselves, clinging to the mountainside in geometric patterns in every direction.
