Shakuni early life

• Shakuni was born in present day Afghanistan, yester year Gandhara to King Subala.
• He was very much connected to his sister Gandhari.
• As a prince, he started to live his life well but things changed badly after his sister Gandhari marriage to Dhritarashtra.
• According to our Hindu tradition , Gandhari was a manglik meaning person whose horoscope doesn't have Mars in proper place so this can be inauscipious to family. So only a manglik should marry a manglik.
• Knowing this, the King decided to do kumbh vivah meaning getting married to a banana tree and would cut down the banana tree after her marriage to prince.
• Bheeshma was the one who selected princess Gandhari for marrying Dhritarashtra. And they got married and lived well for sometime .
• So this makes Dhritarashtra technically second husband and Dhritarashtra jailed the entire family of Gandhari and ordered to give them only a fistful of rice every day. This was a very hard decision for whole family including king.
• 
  Eventually whole family was in jail and was trying to manage the food with all but soon they got to know that this diet won't make the whole family survive for a long time.
• So Gandhari's father decided and started to give whole fistful of rice to his younger son Shakuni. So Shakuni accepted and started to have whole fistful so that he can avenge his family death as per his dad wish.
• As he is not adolescent and yet a small kid that time, his father twisted his leg and made permanent limp so that he would remember always that he is there to avenge their death .
• Also, he requested Dhritarashtra to set free and said that he would be guardian for Dhritarashtra sons.
• So his last request was fulfilled and Shakuni really became guardian of the Dhritarashtra sons.
• But also he said to Shakuni that that he might use his thigh or also back bone for any avenge purpose and this bones will obey your decision during his complete lifetime.
• This bones were only used as a dice against Pandavas in the elaborate game of dice that followed. It's said that this dice has magical abilities and it would help Shakuni win all games of dice ever played.
• As he was true guardian of all hundred kuaravas and he slowly started showing special attention towards Duryodhana.
• With passage of time, he became so close and trusted person. So Shakuni used this trust to instill hate and wicked thoughts against Pandavas of all time.
• This incident as known started bringing downfall of Pandavas.

 It is worth to share that Disha Patani, the Bollywood popular actress has an elder sister Khushboo Patani was a former Major in the Indian army and regarding this most of the people are not aware of.

Disha Patani is one year younger than Khushboo as she was born in 1992 and her sister in 1991. Both were born in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh. Both are beautiful and they are like twin sisters.

Their father Jagdish Singh Patani is a police officer and their mother is a health inspector. They also have one younger brother Suryansh Patani.

Both the sisters have completed their education in their birth place Bareilly Uttar Pradesh. Khushboo did her engineering in Electronics & Telecommunication at DIT school of Engineering and Disha Patani left her second year of engineering when she was studying at the Amity University, Lucknow.

Unlike her sister Khushboo, Disha Patani got interested in the entertainment world. She participated in the 2013 Femina Miss India and she became the first runner up.

Though Khushboo worked earlier in a multinational company she got inspired to join the Indian army, so she decided to take Services Selection Board (SSB) examination and she cleared it in her first attempt. Khushboo served the Indian army for over a decade and got retired in around 2025 at the age of 34 years when she was a Major.

After retirement Khushboo selected a different meaningful field, now she is not only a fitness coach but also a spiritual healer and TEDx speaker. She uses her social media platform to inspire and motivate the people to participate in the social causes. She got very much admired and received attention for protecting an abondoned child girl from a ruined old building near her home in Bareilly when she heard the crying of the infant. She took the baby to a safer zone, comfort her and temporarily named the child as Radha. She made a public appeal with the concerned authorities to take action and to find out the child's family. The video had become viral and called her actions heroic.

ಒಮ್ಮೆ ನಾರದ ಮುನಿಗಳ ಪ್ರೇರಣೆಯಿಂದ, ಸತಿಯು ಭಗವಾನ್ ಶಿವನನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಕಂಠದಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುವ ಮುಂಡಮಾಲೆಯ ರಹಸ್ಯವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸಲು ಹಠ ಹಿಡಿದಳು. ಬಹಳಷ್ಟು ಮನವೊಲಿಸುವ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಗಳ ನಂತರ, ಶಿವನು ರಹಸ್ಯವನ್ನು ಬಿಚ್ಚಿಹೇಳಿದ. ಶಿವನು ಸತಿಯನ್ನು ಕರೆದು ಹೇಳಿದನು, ಈ ಮುಂಡಮಾಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುವ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಮುಂಡಗಳು ನಿಮ್ಮವೇ. ಸತಿ ಈ ವಿಷಯವನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯಗೊಂಡಳು.

ಸತಿಯು ಶಿವನನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದಳು, ಇದು ಹೇಗೆ ಸಾಧ್ಯ..? ಈ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಶಿವನು ಹೇಳಿದ, ಇದು ನಿಮ್ಮ 108ನೇ ಜನ್ಮ. ಈ ಮುಂಚೆ ನೀವು 107 ಬಾರಿ ಜನ್ಮತಾಳಿಕೊಂಡು, ಶರೀರ ತ್ಯಾಗ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೀರಿ, ಮತ್ತು ಈ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಮುಂಡಗಳು ಆ ಪೂರ್ವ ಜನ್ಮಗಳ ಗುರುತುಗಳು. ಈ ಮಾಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇನ್ನೂ ಒಂದು ಮುಂಡದ ಕೊರತೆಯಿದೆ, ನಂತರ ಈ ಮಾಲೆ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಶಿವನ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ, ಸತಿಯು ಶಿವನನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದರು, "ನಾನು ಪುನಃ ಪುನಃ ಜನ್ಮತಾಳುತ್ತೇನೆ, ಆದರೆ ನೀವು ಶರೀರ ತ್ಯಾಗ ಮಾಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ." ಶಿವನು ನಕ್ಕು ಹೇಳಿದ, "ನಾನು ಅಮರಕಥೆಯನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದಿದ್ದೇನೆ, ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ನನಗೆ ಶರೀರ ತ್ಯಾಗ ಮಾಡಬೇಕಾಗಿಲ್ಲ." ಇದಕ್ಕೆ, ಸತಿಯು ಕೂಡಾ ಅಮರಕಥೆಯನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಯಲು ಆಸಕ್ತಿ ತೋರಿಸಿದಳು. ಶಿವನು ಸತಿಗೆ ಕಥೆಯನ್ನು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಿರುವಾಗ, ಸತಿ ನಿದ್ರಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಳು ಮತ್ತು ಕಥೆಯನ್ನು ಕೇಳಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ, ಅವಳಿಗೆ ದಕ್ಷನ ಯಜ್ಞಕುಂಡದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾರಿ ತನ್ನ ಶರೀರವನ್ನು ತ್ಯಾಗ ಮಾಡಬೇಕಾಗಿ ಬಂತು.
