Ohhh, very interesting question. May be there are many movies in which Hollywood actor has acted but I will tell you here some of them.
We’ve often seen Bollywood actors venturing into Hollywood. From Priyanka Chopra, Irrfan Khan, Anupam Kher, Anil Kapoor, Om Puri to recently Pankaj Tripathi and Randeep Hooda in Extraction; all these actors have proved their mettle in Hollywood and represented India at a global level. However, this is two-way road and just like Indian actors, there are a lot of Hollywood and foreign actors who have tried their hands in Bollywood.
1. Denise Richards – Kambakkht Ishq
This 2009 film directed by Sabbir Khan may have failed to impress Bollywood fans, but it did succeed in bringing together many prominent names from Hollywood and Denise Richards was one of them. The Wild Things and The World Is Not Enough actress romanced Akshay Kumar in the movie and sacrificed her love for Akshay Kumar’s happiness. The film revolves around a Hollywood stuntman and medical student who start off on a wrong note and strongly dislike each other, but eventually falling in love. The movie also starred actor Brandon Routh as himself in the film.
2. Clive Standen – Namastey London
Clive Standen is known for his performances in movies and TV shows like Vikings, Taken, Everest, Vault, Doctor Who and Robin Hood to name a few. In 2007, Clive featured in the 2007 Bollywood film Namastey London alongside Katrina Kaif and Akshay Kumar. Clive played the character to Charlie Brown, Katrina Kaif’s boyfriend whom she left at the altar after she realised that she’s actually in love with Akshay Kumar.
3. Sylvester Stallone – Kambakkht Ishq
Sylvester Stallone is one of the finest Hollywood actors who has given us some really remarkable movies such as Rocky, Creed, Rambo, Rocky Balboa, The Expendables and Assassins to name a few. But, did you know that the 73-year-old action legend once acted in a Bollywood movie alongside India’s action star, Akshay Kumar. In case you don’t know, here’s a small hint – try remembering the guy who saved Kareena Kapoor Khan from goons in Kambakkht Ishq!
4.Will Smith – Student of the Year 2
Will Smith, who is known for movies like Pursuit of Happyness, Hitch, Hancock, Men in Black and Bad Boys to name a few; turned his Desi mode on for Student of the Year 2. Karan Johar roped in Will Smith for a special dance performance in the 2019 movie featuring Tiger Shroff, Tara Sutaria and Ananya Panday. During the trailer launch, Karan Johar had said that dancing to a Bollywood song was “one of the main things on Will Smith’s Bucket List”.
5. Christopher B. Duncan – My Name Is Khan
Christopher B. Duncan, who has been a part of movies and TV shows like The First Family, American Soul, The Jamie Foxx Show, and Johnson Family Vacation; played a small but key role in Shah Rukh Khan’s My Name Is Khan. He played the role of President-elect Barack Obama, who met Shah Rukh Khan in the end and told him the dialogue that brought tears in the eyes of audience - “Your name is Khan and you are not a terrorist.”
6. Paul Blackthorne – Lagaan
“Teen guna lagaan dena padega”, how can we forget this iconic dialogue that changed the lives of the farmers of Champaner, when they accepted the offer to play cricket with the British officers. The man behind this dialogue who also faced the embarrassing defeat was Captain Andrew Russell. Paul Blackthorne played the role of Captain Russell. He’s also known for his performances in Justice League: Doom, Dumb and Dumber To, A Christmas Carol, The American Journey, the Dresden Files and Arrow.
7. Toby Stephens – Mangal Pandey: The Rising
Toby Stephens played Captain William Gordon, who formed a friendship with Mangal Pandey (played by Aamir Khan). The film is a biographical historical drama on the life of Mangal Pandey, an Indian sepoy who played a significant role in sparking the Indian rebellion of 1857. Directed by Ketan Mehta, the film also starred Rani Mukherji, Ameesha Patel and Kirron Kher among others. Toby is also known for his performance in films like Die Another Day, The Great Gatsby, The Machine, and 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi.
8. Mish Boyko – Queen
Kangana Ranaut played a shy under-confident girl in Vikas Bahl’s Queen, who decided to go alone on her honeymoon to Paris and Amsterdam, after her fiancé breaks up with her a day before their wedding. When she travels to Amsterdam, she meets Oleksander from Russia, a name she can’t pronounce correctly. Well, the role of Oleksander was played by Mish Boyko who is also known for his performances in Dracula Untold and Risen to name a few.
9. Rebecca Breeds – Bhaag Milkha Bhaag
Rebecca Breeds who danced with Farhan Akhtar on Slow Motion Angreza played the role of Stella in Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s Bhaag Milkha Bhaag. Apart from her stint in Bollywood, Rebecca has also acted in TV shows like Pretty Little Liars, The Originals, Molly and Blue Water High to name a few.
10. Sarah Thompson – Raajneeti
Sarah Thompson is known for her performances in Cruel Intentions 2, Broken Windows, Brooklyn’s Finest, and Babysitter Wanted. In 2010, she played Sarah Jean Collins and girlfriend of Samar Pratap (played by Ranbir Kapoor) in Raajneeti. Directed by Prakash Jha, the film also starred Ajay Devgn, Katrina Kaif, Nana Patekar, Arjun Rampal and Manoj Bajpayee.
