Vizag “ The city of destiny “ has got beautiful places to visit, which includes many beaches, parks, temples and many more. And here I've mentioned a few attractions which are really bewitching and worth visiting.
1.Araku valley
It is a famous hill station located at a distance of 120KM from the city. It is famous for it's scenic beauty and it's wonderful atmosphere. October to March is said to be the best time to visit this tourist attraction.
One may reach through train or by road. Through both the ways the journey is pleasurable.
And it's know for it's famous Borra caves.
And last but not the least, if you are a foodie and a chicken lover don't miss the famous delicacy of Araku “Bongulo chicken” which means chicken cooked in bamboo.
2. Katiki waterfalls
It is located at a 7KMs distance from Borra caves. This waterfalls has formed by Gosthani river and cascades down at a height of 100+ feet. The pond at the bottom is an excellent place for taking a bath. And it is also a good place for trekking.
3. Lambasingi
Perched at an altitude of 1000 meters above sea level this mystic hill station is famously know as the “Kashmir of Andhra Pradesh" with quaint valleys and chilling temperatures.
4. Divis bridge
It is about 37KMs from Vizag city.

5. Kailasagiri
It is a hill top park in Visakhapatnam. One could get there by road or through rope way. You can experience a breathtaking view of the Vizag beach and the city.
