People say money cannot solve your problems but what issues could money easily fix?

Billionaire Elon Musk offered $5,000 to 19-year-old student Jack Sweeney to shut down his Twitter account, which was being used to track Musk's private jet movements in real time.

The offer was turned down, according to Business Insider. Sweeney told the publication that the sum was not enough to compensate for the satisfaction he derived from running the account.

According to the same report, Musk reached out to the young man through a private message on Twitter, asking him to take the account down and claiming it posed a genuine risk to his personal safety.

During the exchange, Sweeney explained to Musk exactly how his bot was able to track the billionaire's aircraft and even offered technical suggestions on how the Tesla founder could make his jet more difficult to trace.

Musk then made his offer: "How about $5,000 to close the account and a little help making it harder for people to follow me?"

Sweeney responded: "Is there any chance that figure could go up to $50,000?"

He also explained that the money would help cover his university fees and could go toward buying a car.
