Kartiviraya Arjuna was a very powerful warrior and was an incarnation of Sudarshan Chakra. He had thousand arms and could fire five hundred arrows at one go. He was an expert in archery and a devotee of Bhagwan Dattatreya, joint incarnation of Tridevs and had obtained a lot of boons from him. Kartiviraya Arjuna had conquered the entire earth and had ruled over it for 87000 years.
He had even defeated Devraj Indra and had insulted him infront of his wife Sachi. This act of his had made the kshatriyas on earth very proud. Hence Bhagwan Parshurama was born to rid the earth of kshatriyas and kill Kartiviraya Arjuna. He was strong enough to stop the flow of River Narmada with his arms. His greatest achievement was defeating and capturing Ravana,
Kartiviraya Arjuna had never lost a battle in his entire life till he fought Bhagwan Parshurama.
Only a very few warrior from Ramayana can defeat him :
(a) Bhagwan Sri Ram :
- He is Bhagwan Vishnu himself. He is higher than the highest. He has no equal or superior.
"You are the Lord Narayana himself the glorious god, who wields the discus. You are the Divine Boar with a single tusk, the conqueror of your past and future enemies.""You are Brahma, the imperishable, the Truth abiding in the middle as well as at the end of the universe. You are the supreme righteousness of people, whose powers go everywhere. You are the four-armed.""You are the wielder of a bow called Sarnga, the lord of the senses, the supreme soul of the universe, the best of men, the invincible, the wielder of a sword named Nandaka, the all-pervader, the bestower of happiness to the earth and endowed with great might.""You are the leader of the army and the village headman. You are the intellect. You are the endurance and the subduer of the senses. You are the origin and the dissolution of all, Upendra the Divine Dwarf and (the younger brother of Indra) as also the destroyer Madhu, the demon.""You perform action for Indra the lord of celestials, the Supreme Ruler, the one having a lotus in one's navel and who puts an end to all in battle. The divine sages pronounce you to be fit to afford protection to all and the refuge for all.""In the form of the Vedas, you are the great Bull with hundred heads (rules) and thousand horns (precepts). You are the first creator of all, the three worlds, and the self constituted Lord of all. You are the refuge and the forbear of Siddhas (a class of demi-gods endowed with mystic powers by virtue of their very birth) and Sadhyas (a class of celestial beings.)"You are the sacrificial performance. You are the sacred syllable 'Vashat' (on hearing which the Adhvaryu priest casts the oblation to a deity into the sacrificial fire). You are the mystic syllable 'OM'. You are higher than the highest. People neither know your end nor your origin nor who you are in reality.""You appear in all created beings in the cattle and in brahmanas. You exist in all quarters, in the sky, in mountains and in rivers.""With thousand feet, with hundred heads and with thousand eyes along with Lakshmi the goddess of wealth, you bear the earth with all its created beings along with its mountains."

- He is the source of existence, continuation and cessation.
Now truly all that was told me formerly by Vaśisht́ha, and by the wise Palastya, has been brought to my recollection by your questions, and I will relate to you the whole, even all you have asked. Listen to the complete compendium of the Pur pas, according to its tenour. The world was produced from Vishńu: it exists in him: he is the cause of its continuance and cessation: he is the world

- He had slayed Madhu and Kaitabha who had stolen the Vedas from Brahma Deva. After killing them he had bestowed intelligence to Brahma Deva for the creation of the world and had provided him with the knowledge of Vedas too.
Uttering these words, the two Danavas awakened Hari from his Yoga-slumber. The foremost of Beings, (viz., Narayana), thus awakened, understood that the two Danavas intended to have an encounter with him in battle. Beholding the two foremost of Asuras prepared to do battle with him, he also set his mind to gratify that desire of theirs. Thereupon an encounter took place between those two on one side and Narayana on the other. The Asuras Madhu and Kaitabha were embodiments of the attributes of Rajas and Tamas. Narayana slew them both for gratifying Brahma. He thence came to be called by the name of Madhusudana (slayer of Madhu). Having compassed the destruction of the two Asuras and restored the Vedas to Brahma, the Supreme Being dispelled the grief of Brahma. Aided then by Hari and assisted by the Vedas, Brahma created all the worlds with their mobile and immobile creatures. After this, Hari, granting unto the Grandsire intelligence of the foremost order relating to the Creation, disappeared there and then for going to the place he had come from. It was thus that Narayana, having assumed the form equipt with the horse-head, slew the two Danavas Madhu and Kaitabha (and disappeared from the sight of Brahma). Once more, however, he assumed the same form for the sake of causing the religion of Pravritti to flow in the universe.'

“My dear Lord, when You appeared as Hayagrīva, with the head of a horse, You killed two demons known as Madhu and Kaiṭabha, who were full of the modes of passion and ignorance. Then You delivered the Vedic knowledge to Lord Brahmā. For this reason, all the great saints accept Your forms as transcendental, untinged by material qualities.

- Every pore of his skin was home to billions of Universes.
“The Lord then revealed to his mother his marvellous infinite form, every pore of whose skin contained millions and billions of universes. She saw therein countless suns and moons, Shivas and four-faced Brahmās, and a number of mountains, rivers, oceans, plains and woods, as well as the spirit of time, the principle of action, the modes of Prakæti (Sattva, Rajas and Tamas), the spirit of knowledge and Nature and many more things of which she had never heard before. She further beheld Māyā, who is powerful in every respect, yet stricken with terror and standing with her palms joined together to supplicate Lord. The mother also beheld Jiva the embodied soul, who is made to dance by Māyā, and even so Bhakti-devi the spirit of devotion which whi liberates the soul.”

- Hanuman ji had praised Bhagwan Sri Ram in Ravana’s court and had told him that he can destroy the entire cosmos in the blink of an eye and can again recreate it in twinkling of an eye.
"The renowned Rama is capable of totally destroying all the worlds together with its five elements, along with its animate and inanimate things and also to create yet again all the worlds in like manner as before."

- His normal arrows were much stronger than the Vajra of Devraj Indra. His single arrow had pierced seven shala trees, levelled a mountain and had penetrated the netherworld before returning to his own quiver.
Rama, the bestower of dignity to the sufferers, took up his dreadful bow, aimed at a sala tree, and darted single arrow, by which all the directions reverberated with the twang of his bowstring. The golden arrow released by the mighty Rama perforated all the seven sala trees, and even the levelled areas of mountain, and then entered the earth. Thus that arrow which briskly drilled all the sala trees, came up in a moment from under the earth, and again swiftly re-entered the quiver of Rama.

"Raghava, I am going to give the highly divine Danda disc [Punisher disc]; next, oh, best one among men, Dharma disc [Virtue-disc,] and like that kaala disc [Time-disc]; then oh, brave one, Vishnu disc; similarly oh, dextrous Rama, Indra disc and Thunderbolt missile; the best trident pertaining to Shiva; the missile called Brahma-shira [Brahma-crest]; the missile called the Aishiika missile [Grass-Blade missile,] and that way oh, Raghava, I am going to give the unexcelled and highly formidable missile called Brahma missile.
"Oh manly tiger prince Rama, I am going to accord two maces that are brilliant by their radiance called, the Modaki, [the Beater,] and Shikhari, [the Tower of Protection.]
"Oh, Rama, like that I will be giving three nooses called Dharma paasha and kaala-paasha and Varuna paasha, [Virtue noose and Time noose, Rain god's noose] as well as an unequalled missile called Varuna astra, Rain-god's missile.
"Oh, Raghu's scion, I will also give two projectile bolts, one called shushka [The Drier] and the other aardra [The Drencher] and even the missiles of Pinaaka and that of Narayana, [the missiles of god Shiva and Narayana] I will give.
"Oh, impeccable Rama, thus a well-known missile shikhari [The Tower] and another the fond of Fire-god known as prathama [The Blower] and a missile of Air-god too, I will be giving.
"Oh, Raghava of Kakutstha-s, I will give you two missiles named Haya-shira [The Horse-head] and Krouncha [The Wrester] and two Impellers, one presided over by the power of Vishnu, and the other by the power of Rudra.
"I will be giving all those weapons that are wielded by demons, namely the deadly Pounder named Kankaalam, and Rods named as Kapaalam and Kankanam, for the elimination of those very demons.
"Oh, mighty armed son of the best king, I am giving a great missile named Vaidyadhara by its name, and a gem of sword named Nandana.
"Thus, the missile which is very much liked by Gandharva-s, namely Mohana, [The Stupefier,] the missile called Prasvapana [The Inducer of Sleep,] and the gentle Prashamana [The Pacifier of enemy's anger.]
"Oh, highly fortunate Rama, take these missiles namely, varshaNa, [the Rainer,] shoshana [the Drainer,] santaapana [the Humidifier,] vilaapana [the Weep-inducer,] and oh, prince, an unassailable intoxicator and a dear missile of Manmatha, namely Mohana [The Intoxicator,] and another the fond missile of gandharva-s namely maanava by its name, [The Humane missile,] and oh, tigerly man, a missile dear one to pishaaca-s, monsters, namely paishaca [The Monster missile.]
"Oh, manly-tiger Rama, greatly powered taamasa and saumana missiles, the indomitable missiles like samvarta, mausala, satya, and then the maaya-maya missile; like that oh, mighty armed Rama, a solar missile the sequestrator of others' brilliance namely teja-prabha; next, the missile of Moon-god named shishira [The Cooler]; and a very deadly missile of tvaSTa namely sudaamana; and even the dangerous missile of bhaga namely shita-iSu, these and the maanava missile of Manu, the earliest ruler of mankind, I will be giving.

- I doubt if Kartiviraya Arjuna will survive a second if he uses even 1 % of his power
- Ravana managed to fight Bhagwan Sri Ram for one day because he was holding back a lot of his power. Even his charioteer Matali asked him why was he toying with Ravana and in Uttar Kanda while giving Shatrughana Vaishnavastra to kill Lavanasura, he had told that he could have killed Ravana within a second with it but he did’nt use it because it would terrify the living creatures.
(b) Mata Sita :
- She is non-different from Bhagwan Sri Ram, hence is equally powerful as Bhagwan Sri Ram.
This auspicious woman could not give way to the sovereignty, existing in the gynaecium of Ravana, in as much as Seetha is not different from me, even as sunlight is not different from the sun.""Seetha, the daughter of Janaka, is completely pure in her character, in all the three worlds

- She had easily lifted the Shiva bow, like a toy which celestials, Gandharvas, demons etc could’nt lift. Later that bow was broken by Bhagwan Sri Ram in her Swayamwara.
- Mata Sita could have burnt Ravana into ashes within moments but he was destined to die from the hands of Bhagwan Sri Ram.

- She had cooled the fire on Hanuman ji’s tail.
Then, the large-eyed Seetha, wishing for the welfare of Hanuma, prayed the fire-god with her devoted self."If I have done any service to my husband, if I have performed a penance and if I am a faithful wife, please be cool to Hanuma.""If the wise Rama has even a little of kindness to me and if I have still some good fortune remaining to my credit, please be cool to Hanuma.""If that virtuous Rama recognises me as one,, who is endowed with a good moral conduct and who is ardently desirous of meeting him, please be cool to Hanuma.""If the venerable Sugreeva, true to his promise, can make me traverse from this ocean of sorrow, please be cool to Hanuma."Then, the fire-god, as though informing the fawn-eyed Seetha about the well-being of Hanuma, shone brightly with sharp flames, undisteurbed and shooting out pointed flames towards the right.Even wind-god, the father of Hanuma, combined with the fire on Hanuma's tail, swept coolly like a snow-breeze, creating a solace to Seetha. While his tail was in flames, Hanuma was reflecting why the fire, which was blazing on all sides, was not burning him.

- Even during her Agni Pravesha(not pariksha) , fire was not able to harm her. Bhagwan Sri Ram never asked her to enter fire, she did that herself.
, Bhagwan Sri Ram never doubted Devi Sita. It is evident from his words.
"Seetha certainly deserves this pure factory ordeal in the eyes of the people in as much as this blessed woman had resided for a long time indeed in the gynaecium of Ravana."The world would chatter against me, saying that Rama, the son of Dasaratha, was really foolish and that his mind was dominated by lust, if I accept Seetha without examining her with regard to her chastity.""I also know that Seetha, the daughter of Janaka, who ever revolves in my mind, is undivided in her affection to me.""Ravana could not violate this wide-eyed woman, protected as she was by her own splendour, any more than an ocean would transgress its bounds.""In order to convince the three worlds, I, whose refugee is truth, ignored Seetha while she was entering the fire.""The evil-minded Ravana was not able to lay his violent hands, even in thought, o the unobtainable Seetha, who was blazing like a flaming tongue of fire.""This auspicious woman could not give way to the sovereignty, existing in the gynaecium of Ravana, in as much as Seetha is not different from me, even as sunlight is not different from the sun.""Seetha, the daughter of Janaka, is completely pure in her character, in all the three worlds and can no longer be renounced by me, as a good name cannot be cast aside by a prudent man."The salutary advice of you all, the affectionate guardians of the world, who are saying what is conducive to our good, must be certainly carried out by me."Saying thus and getting reunited with her beloved Seetha, the victorious and highly illustrious Rama, a scion of Raghu dynasty, who was endowed with a great strength and deserved happiness and was being glorified by his exploits, performed by his own self, experienced joy.

- In Adbhut Ramayana , she turned into Mahakali and killed Shashtra Ravana.
Seeing Rama unconscious and helpless on the field, Sita laughed, and giving up her human appearance she took on the exceedingly horrific form of Mahakali . In less than a second, she severed Sahastra Ravana's 1000 heads and began destroying rakshasas everywhere. Innumerable mothers of every type came to the battlefield to sport with Mahakali, playing games with the heads of rakshasas. The earth shook and almost sank into the netherworlds, but was rescued by Shiva disguised as a corpse.
Sarga 24: Realizing that the earth might be destroyed if Sita as Mahakali did not calm down, the Devatas came to appease her. They exclaimed that only through shakti does the supreme lord become accessible. She pointed to the unconscious Rama, making clear that because he was unconscious she could not consider the world's welfare. Brahma restored Rama's consciousness, but as he regained awareness he was frightened of Sita's horrific form. Brahma explained to Rama that she had taken this form to highlight the fact that everything he does—the creation and destruction of the universe, and all other activities can only be accomplished in association with her, with shakti. Rama was satisfied, and his fears allayed.

Having seen the fearful and the terrible act in Lanka done by Hanuma, like Devendra the powerful King of celestials, Ravana with his face descended a little with shame, spoke to the demons as follows:"By him, who was only a monkey, the irresistible City of Lanka was entered into and was over-powered. By that blow of the fist, Ravana the Lord of Demons reeled and fell on his knees to the ground.A lot of blood oozed out from his face, eyes, and ears. (d) Lakshman ji :
- He is an incarnation of Adi Ananta Shesh Naga, who is capable of holding the weight of the entire cosmos. Hence his strength knows no bounds.
- Brahma Deva himself praised Ananta Shesh Nag and called him equal to Bhagwan Vishnu . According to Brahma Deva, Adi Ananta Shesh Naga, is capable of holding the three worlds comprising Gandharvas, Devas, mortals, demons etc.
