Let me share my personal experience with Yash movies fue to which I couldn't fathom the courage to watch KGF for very long.
In 2017, we were travelling to Kathmandu in a luxury bus. They had a screen on which they were playing dubbed South movies. Even though the movies were not great it was good enough for time pass. Then they started playing a movie, and there were some random scenes playing out without making any rhyme and reason. For 15 minutes we were all watching and thinking “What is this utter crap?” When we had enough we asked the bus conductor to change the video. One year later, I got to know that the same actor is coming up with a new film- KGF. But even though KGF became a massive hit everytime I thought of watching the film I was haunted by the visuals of his crap performance in a crap film called Santhu Straight Forward
Later I watched the two KGF films and even though they were decent (the first part, the second part was lousy) but for Kannada industry which suffer from lack of budget and low box office, these films were great landmarks. But Toxic ruined the hype of Yash and the delays in the film was in itself a sign that the film will end up as a mess. And as the promotional material started coming up the mess became messier. And we know very well what was the end result of the film!!
