The historic event of branding Alia Bhatt as dumb all started in Koffee with Karan season 4, which aired on Star World.
Karan Johar invited the stars of student of the year- Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and Siddharth Malhotra over to his show for a special episode. After all, it was Johar himself who launched those three through Student of the year.
The three of them turned out to be fun and entertaining guests. The interview was going smoothly with the usual tricks up Karan's sleeve- inquiring inquisitively about their personal lives, whos seeing who, who hates who, and blah blah.
The much hyped Rapid fire round too went smoothly for all 3. But, poor Alia Bhatt did not know what tragedy was going to befall her in the next segment.
KOFFEE QUIZ ROUND:
Karan Johar asks five random questions to his guests, each guest has to fight it out and try to answer each question first, by pressing a buzzer.
Midway into the quiz:
KJo: The president of India is?
*Alia's buzzer goes off first*
Alia Bhatt: Prithviraj Chauhan!!!
And that was it. It just wasnt her day at Koffee with Karan. From then on, the incessant trolling of Alia Bhatt kicked off, though the actress has managed to take it into her stride and not give a shit about it!
