This is the Ali and Nino sculpture in Batumi, Georgia.
Everyday at 7 P.M, these statues come together and merge into one.
The sculpture is based on a tragic story of Ali and Nina. Ali was an Azerbaijani Muslim and Nina was a Gerogian Princess. They both fell in love with each other despite so many differences and married each other. But soon war started and the Ali was killed fighting for his country.
Based on the this story, a Georgian Artist decided to made this sculpture in 2007 which was installed in 2010. It's title is “Man and Woman”.
