So, I'd start the answer by highlighting the fact that I'm a huge Alia Bhatt fan. And now, it is an established fact that she's one of the best actresses among the young generations that Bollywood can have.
Here are some facts about her :
- Alia loves animals. She actively participates in all the events related animal care and safety and joins the debate about it on social media too. She has a pet cat named Edward.
- She started her career at the age of 17. She came for the SOTY auditions in her school uniform :P
- She is still in her early twenties and has bagged two filmfare awards for her performance in Highway and Udta Punjab. Makes you proud as her fan, right?
- Ranbir Kapoor and Kareena have been her favorite from Bollywood and she has worked with both. Though she didn't have any scenes with Kareena in Udta Punjab but she's Ranbir's lead in Brahmastra directed by Ayan Mukherji which is slated to release this year.
- She recently participated in an event on May 1 which is observed as Labour's day by visiting a rural area in Maharashtra and participating in Shramdaan along with Aamir Khan.
- She loves home cooked food and her mom's cooked potato fries are her favorite.
- She is an extremely sweet and humble girl in person with no issues about being a popular Bollywood celebrity. I've not met her, but I draw conclusion from what I've heard from my friends who've met her.
- She has completed her schooling from JNS, Mumbai and even recalls a jingle about her school when asked in an interview.
- Her favorite holiday destination is London. Her current favorite book is, “The subtle art of not giving a fuck” which apparently she has gifted everyone close to her including her hair stylist and makeup artist.
