Suniel Shetty made his Bollywood debut with the film Balwaan. However the first film which he signed was Sajid Nadiadwala's Waqt Hamara Hai with Akshay Kumar.
There were reports that Suniel was on a signing spree after he signed Waqt Hamara Hai.
The next film which he signed was Balwaan which was followed by Hum Hai Bemiasal, Anth, Dilwale, GopiKishan, Surakshaa, Raghuveer, Vishwasghat, etc. Producers mainly signed him for action films and Suniel was comfortable even if he was not the solo hero in the film.
