What is the biggest lie in Indonesian history?

I think every Indonesian knows about Borobudur Temple. It turns out it's not on the list of wonders of the world.

More precisely, it's a misconception, because most Indonesian literature lists Borobudur Temple as one of the seven wonders of the world. However, why doesn't the New Open World Corporation (NOWC) include Borobudur on its list?

If we look back, Borobudur was never actually part of Antipater Sidon's most popular seven wonders of the world. Sidon divided the list into the Pyramids of Giza, the Hanging Gardens of Babylon, the Statue of Zeus at Olympia, the Temple of Artemis in Turkey, the Mausoleum, the Colossus, and the Lighthouse of Alexandria.

In fact, Borobudur is on the World Heritage List issued by the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), a UN agency whose stated goal is to promote and safeguard the world's cultural diversity and heritage. Borobudur Tourism Park CEO Wagiman Subiarso stated that Borobudur Temple remains on the UNESCO list.

"The poll released by NOWC is actually very subjective and doesn't reflect the true situation. Because the results are solely based on and depend on who conducted the poll," Wagiman said. "In this case, the list of the authorities (UNESCO) should be referred to," Wagiman said.

Perhaps Indonesians misunderstand this, leading many to believe that Borobudur Temple is one of the wonders of the world.

To this day, Borobudur Temple still stands tall and is a source of pride for Indonesia. Built in the eighth century during the Syailendra Dynasty, it inspires visitors both domestically and internationally. Buddhists also continue to use it for religious celebrations, such as Vesak (Waisak) celebrations.

UPDATE

This is a photo that I collected on the Internet about what the condition of Borobudur Temple was like before the restoration.

So, Borobudur Temple, which looks magnificent and has become a world tourist attraction, has gone through many restoration processes.
