In absolute reality, Śrīdevī Mahālakṣmī and Lalitā Tripurasundarī are the same. In yantric terms, the Śrī Cakra belongs to both and they’re worshipped in the same diagram, with the only difference being the āvaraṇa-krama.
Let’s see the shastrik pramana of this -
Śrī Mahālakṣmī Ratna Kośa (Part 1, Chapter 38, Verses 39–41):
Translation: "Lakṣmī holds two lotuses and displays the gestures of bestowing boons and fearlessness. Know that for both of them [Mahālakṣmī and Tripurasundarī], the Chakra is one and the same. The difference lies only in the sequence of their surrounding deities (āvaraṇa-krama), though separately it is named as the Śrī Cakra itself. One should worship all the mothers with the seed syllables of speech (Vāc), illusion (Māyā), and wealth (Kamalā). These include Tripurā, Tripureśī, Sundarī, Puravasinī, Śrī, Mālinī, Siddhāmbā, and Mahātripurasundarī."
According to the Ṛṣyaśṛṅga Saṃhitā, the Cakra is clearly described as both Śiva-Śakti-maya, meaning it consists of Shiva and Shakti, and Lakṣmī-Nārāyaṇa-abhidha, meaning it is named Lakshmi-Narayana.
Ṛṣyaśṛṅga Saṃhitā (Uttarabhāga, Chapter 6, Verses 53-54):
Translation: "This Śrī Cakra itself is declared to be named Lakṣmī-Nārāyaṇa. The wise sages declare this very same Cakra to be of the nature of Śiva and Śakti."
Ṛṣyaśṛṅga Saṃhitā (Uttarabhāga, Chapter 39, Verses 27-29):
Translation: "They declare this Śrī Cakra to be of the nature of Śiva and Śakti. It is declared to consist of Śiva and Śakti, and is named Lakṣmī-Nārāyaṇa. The Cakra consisting of nine triangles is called Śrī Cakra."
In the Tripurā Rahasya (Māhātmya Khaṇḍa, Chapter 53, Verses 45–46), the Ma Tripurā explains the origin of the names of her yantra, mantra, and abode, showing her complete unity with Lakṣmī:
Translation: "I [Tripurā] will be known as Śrīvidyā; My abode will be Śrīpura; My mystic diagram will be Śrīcakra; the mode of My worship will be Śrīkrama. My hymn will be the Śrī Sūkta; My mantra will be the sixteen-lettered Śrī Ṣoḍaśī. I am known as Mahālakṣmī because I am established in absolute identity with you.”
Śrī Mātrē Namaḥ!
