What are some of the strangest facts about famous movies?

The 1973 film, Exorcist is one of the scariest movies ever made! The movie was based on a real-life story of the exorcism of a 14-year-old boy in Maryland, US. However, there are a few things that happened behind the scenes that sound absurd but have been verified and confirmed to be true.

Many actors believed that the set of the film was haunted. Once, the set had caught fire and it turned burned everything. The source of the fire was never known. The strange part is that the fire burned everything in the set except the room of Regan where the exorcism scene was shot. Due to the mysterious fire, a priest was called to purify the set and the production was delayed by 6 weeks.

Many actors who had an on-film deth, ended up dyng in real life within a few months after the movie's release. Seven crew members passed away from unexplainable reasons. One of the extras used in the movie was also found guilty of committing a mrdr.

On the day of the movie’s premiere in Rome, there was a heavy downpour and an unexpected lightning storm. A lightning struck a 400-year-old wooden cross which fell into the centre of the theatre. Not that just, several members of the crew were considered possessed in actual life too during the filming and exorcisms had to be performed on them.

What are some awesome movie facts & details?

The Black hole in Interstellar wasn't just good CGI. The VFX team accidentally created real science that even physicists had never seen before.

We all know how obsessed Christopher Nolan is when it comes down to accuracy in his movies. For the Black hole scene in Interstellar, he brought in Kip Thorne a world renowned physicist who would go on to win the Nobel prize in 2017.

To make the scene as realistic as possible, Thorne got to work and sent the VFX team equations about how light bends around a spinning black hole. They created a new software called DNGR to run the simulation. The process was so complex that each single IMAX frame took over 100 hours to render.

When it was complete, Thorne revealed that even he was seeing a fast spinning black hole in ultra high definition for the very first time.

The VFX team had accidentally made a major contribution to astrophysics. Their simulation revealed spacetime warping into shapes nobody had ever seen before.Their findings were so significant that they were published in two peer reviewed scientific journals. They also won the Oscar for Best visual effects that year.

What is best about Vizag?

Been living in Vizag for the past 3–4 years.

One thing that I never saw all these years: Traffic Jam.

BRTS Road

Beach Road

Dronamraju Circle, Siripuram

RK Beach Road-1

RK Beach Road-2

The roads in the city are quite wide. The buses being operated by Andhra Pradesh State Road Transportation Corporation (APSRTC) are available round the clock. Auto-rickshaws are also available.

You will get to visit almost all the places in the city via the buses at a very minimal cost, something around (Rs.1/km). Share-auto fares are not much either. So, the people in the city prefer public transportation to their own privately owned vehicles. On top of that, Andhra Police is very vigilant and strict.

Hence, no traffic problem.

That, for me, is the best thing about Vizag.

Thank you for scrolling down. May God bless you.

Edit 1: NAD Junction is probably one of the few places in Vizag where you can see heavy traffic. Yet, it is not like Chennai or Mumbai. My friends from Delhi reckon Vizag is much better during the rush hours. But I believe, a flyover is planned to be constructed near the NAD Junction. Vizag Metro is coming up too.

What are some weird facts about North Korea?

It's been a little over five year since Kim Jong-un came into power in North Korea. Here are some interesting facts about the world's most "secretive" leader.

1. His real age is a mystery

He is thought to be the world's youngest ruler, but no one has any clue to his actual birthday. It is believed that he was either born in 1983 or 1984. The US Treasury Department, in 2016, lists his birth date as January 8, 1984. He is the youngest son of the late "supreme" leader, Kim Jong-il.

2He attended the best Swiss school using a fake name.

Kim Jong-un was enrolled at a top private school in Switzerland's capital city of Bern but proved to be poor academically. Clad in a Chicago Bulls sweatshirt and Nike shoes, he was introduced to his classmates as Pak Un from North Korea. Money was spent lavishly on his education but he was more inclined towards music and basketball, a sport that he is still passion about, than his studies. With no improvement in his grades in mathematics and science, his father moved him to a Swiss state school where he was put in a lower grade.

3. His addiction to Swiss cheese is the source of his chubbiness.

In Switzerland, Kim became fond of Swiss cheese. His consumption of Emmental has been blamed for his bulging body and lumbering walk. Large amounts of cheese are imported every year to satisfy his cravings.

4. He is a military commander with no training

When his father died in 2011, he took command of the North Korean Army. With practically no experience in the armed forces, the world is on edge as Kim has control of his nation's military.

5. He underwent surgery to resemble his grandfather.

For some, plastic surgery is a means of improving their looks, but Kim Jong-un's goal was to look like his grandfather, Kim Il-sung.

6. He ordered North Koreans to style their hair like his, but he's afraid of barbers

In North Korea, there are strict rules regarding haircuts. Kim Jong-un's haircut is special – it's called the "ambitious".

A decree was passed in the country in which males were ordered to sport a similar hairstyle. Females were asked to wear their hair in a bob, like his wife, Ri Sol-ju. Performers are not bound by these rules.

Kim is also believed to be scared of barbers, so he cuts his own hair.

7. He is a die-hard basketball fan

His love affair with basketball began during his days in Switzerland. He is an ardent fan of the Chicago Bulls and Michael Jordan is his favourite player. He is close friends with former NBA star Dennis Rodman, who has made several trips to North Korea.

8. He has executed many of his family members

Kim Jong-un, in December 2013, reportedly ordered the execution of his uncle, Jang Song-thaek, who was accused of plotting against the state. Some reports suggest he was fed to a pack of wild dogs, while some believe he was killed by a firing squad.
