What are the little known things about some famous logos?

  • Magic Coffee

It's not just a cup of coffee. Look a little closer and you will notice it's also a magician's hat.

  • McDonald's

The golden arches symbolize a pair of nourishing breasts.

  • MyFonts

Notice the palm of a hand in this MyFonts logo made out of the letters M and y.

  • Bearhanded

If you haven't noticed already, the logo is of a hand and a bear.

  • Families

The letters “i,l,i” are transformed to show a simplified and stylized family of three.

  • Freedom

The M has been separated to look like a bird flying off.

  • Eight

Every letter of the logo is made by omitting certain parts of the digit 8.

  • Dell

Notice that the "E" in Dell is turned on its side. The reason? It represents company founder Michael Dell's wish to "turn the world on its ear." Some have also speculated that the slanted 'E' is meant to portray a floppy disk.

  • Nosey

  • The impressive part here is how naturally the word seems to make a face.

  • Mr. Couch

  • The couch has cleverly been crafted to also be a face with a mustache.

  • Match

  • This one goes on and on. The matchsticks' heads come together to make a heart. There are two of them (they match). Fire represents passion. etc. etc.

  • Pittsburgh Zoo
  • It's a tree! And a lion! And a gorilla! And now it's no longer hidden.

Note:

  • Check the other answers for logos of more famous companies like Amazon, Baskin Robbins, FedEx, etc.
  • The McDonald's logo was not made with the aforementioned meaning in mind. However, the meaning is true.
