What are the best trivia facts about the movie Matrix? Facts that few people know?

What are the best trivia facts about the movie Matrix? Facts that few people know?

1 – All the scenes that take place inside the Matrix had a green tint; this was to make it look like they were inside a computer screen.

2 – When the Wachowski siblings approached Warner Bros. with the idea for The Matrix, they said that $80 million would be an adequate budget for the film's production, but Warner Bros. only released $10 million.

With little choice, they accepted the money and filmed the first 10 minutes of the movie (that scene where Trinity runs away from the Agents).

They then showed those first 10 minutes to the Warner executives.

Impressed, they release the original budget that the Wachowskis requested.

3 – In the combat training program when Neo fights Morpheus , he raises his hand close to his face in one of the fighting stances, similar to the stance Bruce Lee used before attacking his opponents. This movement by Neo was improvised by Keanu Reeves in the film.

4 – In Greek mythology, Morpheus is the God of Dreams, which is ironic considering that Morpheus pulls people out of the Matrix (or their dream state) and brings them to reality.

5 – Carrie-Anne Moss, the actress who plays Trinity , twisted her ankle while filming some scenes, but she decided not to tell anyone until filming was over so the production wouldn't have to replace her.

6 – Trinity's costume was made with cheap PVC due to the film's tight budget. The same goes for Neo's costume, which was made of wool that cost $3.

7 – The famous sequence of green symbols that descended on the screens consisted of reversed letters, numbers, and Japanese characters.

8 – The 'bullet time' effect and the famous 360-degree movements were created especially for the film. 120 cameras were used around the scene, and in post-production each photo was transformed into a frame, giving the sensation of 360 degrees.
