Goddess Sheetala (Goddess Parvati) is the wife of Lord Shiva. She is the Goddess which cures smallpox, chicken pox and Mahamayi etc. She is also known as Goddess of children. Also, Goddess Sheetala has a fever-demon named Jvarasura has her servant. However some texts describe Jvarasura as an incarnation of Lord Shiva, making him a consort of Sheetala Mata. But the question arises that why would Lord Shiva incarnate as an Asur? Although Jvarasura is sometimes considered as a deity, why would Lord Shiva as Jvarasura would become servant of his own wife 🤔? So I don't think Jvarasura is Lord Shiva and is not Sheetala Mata’s consort.. I think that is misconception. Either he is consort or servant, both is not possible. I think he is a servant of Sheetala Mata, he is not Lord Shiva. So Sheetala Mata is the wife of Lord Shiva and Jvarasura is a servant of Sheetala Mata. Jvarasura is not Lord Shiva. May Lord Shiva and Goddess Sheetala/Parvati bless good people.
