This is what happens to your body when you eat ginger every day for a month.

We didn't know ginger was so healthy

We all know that fruits and vegetables are very beneficial for us. We know we should eat colorful foods several times a day, but did you know that certain spices also have numerous health benefits? Take ginger, for example. When you eat ginger every day, it has many positive effects on your body.

Ginger

Ginger is a spice characterized by a very strong flavor. Not only is ginger delicious, but it also boasts many beneficial properties. Ginger contains ginger sugar, shogaol, zangibrin, and a complex of vitamins and minerals. It's no wonder, then, that ginger has a long history of medicinal use, having been employed to treat all sorts of ailments for centuries. Furthermore, consuming ginger regularly helps maintain good health.

Good qualities

Ginger contains ginger sugar, a bioactive substance that helps reduce symptoms such as nausea and vomiting. This substance also helps reduce joint swelling. Ginger also contains shogaol, a substance with analgesic effects that may also help fight cancer and heart disease. Zingerin, found in ginger, is particularly good for digestion. But that's not all: ginger also has an antidiabetic effect and improves brain function and the immune system.

Ginger every day

Are you planning to eat ginger every day for a month? We won't try to talk you out of it! Eating ginger daily has many health benefits. Side note: You don't have to chew a whole piece of ginger every day. Chop a large piece—about 1.5 cm—into smaller pieces and mix it into juice, tea, or a plate of food. Wondering how that does your body feel?

This is what will happen to your body:

Anti-inflammatory : The body overcomes inflammation more quickly thanks to the anti-inflammatory effect of ginger.

Nausea disappears : Do you often feel nauseous in the morning? We bet eating ginger every day will help! By eating ginger daily, nausea will gradually decrease. Tip: Pregnant women in particular, and people undergoing chemotherapy, can benefit from this.

Muscle pain relief : Do you have muscle pain or limb pain? Eating ginger can be beneficial. Eating ginger daily will gradually relieve the pain.

Increases bowel movements : Taking ginger daily is very helpful for bowel movements. Do you regularly experience constipation? This may help.

Painful periods : Do you experience constant pain during that time of the month? Eating ginger daily may help you get rid of it. The seasoning's effect is similar to taking painkillers, which can help relieve acute abdominal pain.

Lowering cholesterol : Eating ginger every day for a month can help reduce "bad" cholesterol in the body. The amount of triglycerides in the blood is reduced by the substances present in ginger.

Boosts the immune system : Ginger's anti-inflammatory properties strengthen the immune system. Have you ever had a cold or a virus? Ginger can help you recover faster.

Is buttermilk (chasch) bad for our health?

Butter milk or chaach is actually not unhealthy. It is actually one of the healthiest beverages

to the greatest number of people. Such products as chaas are prepared by dissolving curd in

water and adding spices such as jeera which make it very relaxing and easy to digest.

Chaach is scientifically proven to be composed of probiotics to make sure your gut remains

well. These probiotics enhance digestion, lower gas and maintain acidity. This is the reason

why multiple people take chaach after heavy meals.

Chaach is also low in fat content and calories. It maintains the body fluids during hot

weather, it contains richness of calcium, vitamins, and electrolytes and helps in building of

bones and energy.

But in other individuals Chaach can bring about some minor troubles. A lactose intolerant

individual will experience a bloating or discomfort effect and a cold sore person will

experience congestion being made worse by the chilled chaas. These are exceptional

cases, worth mentioning.

For healthy people, Chaach is more advantageous than milk after meals. It is used to clean

the digestive system, prevent constipation and metabolism.

So chaas is not bad, it is a natural and simple beverage, which is science-backed and it is

quite familiar to the body. All you have to do is to ensure that it is fresh, not very cold, and

not high in salt.

What are some life-saving health tricks and hacks?

Here are few hacks/tricks which I have tried and sharing my experience on each of them.

1: Food activities:

Caution: Be careful before you start these below habits and also do not do it in one go. Start with weekly once, twice per week, alternative days and then daily.

Below are few which I have tried and are working as per my knowledge.

1: Eat curry leaves (~10 leaves) with little jeera daily morning in empty stomach.

Benefits: Eyesight will improve and also white hair will be gone.

My experience: My eyesight improved and now I am not using my specs (I was having 0.75 cylindrical number) and there was moderate change in my hair color. Start with 3 or 5 leaves. you will feel uneasiness in the beginning.

2: Drink honey daily morning empty stomach.

Benefits: Most of the sputum will come out like crazy.

Caution : Try to get original honey, any branded honey in my knowledge are fake.

My experience: It helped me a lot and removed most of my sputum from lungs.

3: Eat or swallow garlic every morning: This helps in good blood circulation and also avoid heart related issues.

My experience: Caution Do not eat a full piece of Garlic at first go. It is too painful and I am not sure about the consequences. First day when I eat a small piece of garlic, my chest part started paining like anything, heavy pain, its like some one is standing on my chest, after 5 hours the pain reduced. When I googled the pain means I have a block somewhere in the arteries. As per Ayurveda this is one of the best practice to get rid of heart disease.

What are some simple tips to improve your health?

  • Drink only 3 litres of water. Not more than this quantity.I have seen people who just keep on drinking water and go to loo often. But seriously man, end of the day you are giving too much work to kidneys .So limit up to 3 litres max.
  • Eat nuts like groundnuts ,almonds or kajus. Not needed to put exotic nuts into your food or as your snacks. Those nuts have less energy compared to our desi nuts.
  • Have lots of vegetables like bottle guard, ridge guard, bitter guard, spinach rather than stuffing mostly potatoes and spicy foods.
  • Indulge in having drinks like coconut water, buttermilk, lassi, lemon juice rather than cool drinks, wine or iced water.

Image source :Google and my gallery

  • Wear light color clothes made of cotton rather than setting yourself into synthetic and nylon . In this regard, have observed many ladies wearing tight legging for whole day. This way making yourself fit into air tight container and not letting your body breathe fresh air.
  • Meditation and exercise on daily basis. Not needed to overdo it and lose energy.Just do for 30 mins like walking or jogging.

How do different sleep positions affect body health and well-being?

You will be surprised to know that the way you sleep has a profound effect on your health. It is not just about comfort, but it affects everything from your spine to your digestion. Let's see how.

1. Sleeping on your back (best):

This is considered to be the best sleeping position. In this, your spine and neck remain straight in their natural position, which reduces the risk of back and neck pain.

When you sleep on your back, your weight is evenly distributed across the body. This does not put pressure on any one joint. Also, it prevents acid reflux as your head remains above the stomach.

2. Sleeping on the side (very good):

This is the most common position in the world and it is also very good for health. It helps in reducing snoring and improves digestion. Sleeping on the left side, in particular, is nothing less than a miracle! Our digestive system is designed in such a way that sleeping on the left side helps food move through the intestines easily and improves digestion. Moreover, our brain cleanses itself at night through the Glymphatic System. Studies show that sleeping on the left side speeds up this cleansing process, which keeps the brain healthy.

3. Sleeping on the stomach (worst):

This is the worst sleeping position. While it may reduce snoring for some people, it is extremely harmful for health.

Sleeping on the stomach causes your spine to lose its natural 'S' shape and become completely flat. The biggest problem is that you have to keep your neck bent at 90 degrees to breathe. This puts terrible strain on the neck and back muscles, leading to stiffness in the morning and severe pain in the long run.

So, the next time you go to sleep, remember, your position can make or break your health.

Figure 1: Your visual guide to healthy and unhealthy sleep positions.
