Being from Karnataka I agree that the state has rich natural vegetation but not as developed as Kerala, Maharashtra , Goa,Tamil Nadu, Chandigarh, Andhrapradesh, Telangana, North East Indian states, Gujarat and Uttar Pradesh, in HDI, literacy rate, cleanliness and GDP.
But I believe Karnataka is better in natural vegetation or natural beauty, fauna(wildlife) and flora while Kerala, Maharashtra , Goa,Tamil Nadu, Chandigarh, Andhrapradesh, Telangana, North East Indian states, Gujarat and Uttar Pradesh are better in HDI, cleanliness and GDP.
Mandya is the capital of Karnataka and important city in Karnataka and India, cultural capital of Karnataka and indirectly India.
Mandya has given sugar production centres, Bird sanctuary , Wildlife sanctuary and contributed to economy of Karnataka and also indirectly contributed to economy of India.
Karnataka is a beautiful state with very rich biodiversity and natural vegetation, history and architecture.
Karnataka home to Western Ghats, a rich biodiversity, rich wildlife and ecosystem and can termed as mini Amazon basin/Selva like Ecosystem.
Hassan has given a lot of architecture marvels to Karnataka and indirectly India.
