Vaibhav Sooryavanahi is a phenomenal player. There is no doubt about it. He may have debuted earlier in comparison to Sachin Tendulkar, but one thing should never be forgotten that he plays cricket in the age of endorsements, sponsorships and distractions। Remember, Virat Kohli couldn't go near Tendulkar as far as Test record is concerned since he played cricket in a different era altogether where shorter format is preferred by players. This is true professionalism. As more and more corporate and business intruding in the sports arena, the more a player inclines towards franchise cricket than international cricket.
So, to my mind Vaibhav Sooryavanshi might break debut record but not the total runs and century record of Sachin Tendulkar.
