Like Sri Vishnu, Shri Krishna, and Shri Rama, why is Sri not placed in front of Shiva?

Sri can indeed be placed in front of Shiva.

“श्री शिवाय नमस्तुभ्यं" is a very sacred mantra mentioned in Shiva Purana.

It is a misconception that Sri is not placed in front of Bhagwan Shiva. So some people say that Sri is not placed in front of Shiva because Sri is a name of Maa Lakshmi, so it is to be placed only in front of Bhagwan Vishnu or his avatars. Firstly this logic is wrong because the sacred texts do mention that Naam Apradh (differentiating between the names of God) is not to be done. Shiva is Narayan, Bhavani is Lakshmi and it is vice versa also because Devi Purana mentions Shiva as Radha and Parvati as Krishna, so it is not even about male and female in case of Almighty. One Ultimate Power performs different roles, but the eternal truth is one. So there is no point in making things more complicated.

Secondly, Sri is also the name of Maa Lalita Tripurasundari, which proves that it can very much be placed in front of Mahadev. Sri Vidya is considered as the most auspicious one in Shakti Upasana.

Thirdly, Sri is very much used with Shiva. We have Sri Rudram as a very sacred Vedic hymn.

Moreover, Sri can also be placed in front of a normal person. It is used to address a man with respect, likewise Srimati is used to address woman. If it can be used in front of normal people also, then it is obvious to use it front of any name of God.

So Sri can definitely be placed in front of Mahadeva, it is just that in common language, we address him more as Shiv ji than as Shri Shiva.

Why did Sri Krishna never go back to Vrindavan after conquering Kansa?

If that were the case, it would mean that Bhagavān Śrī Kṛṣṇa lied when He said to the Vrajavāsīs that He would soon return. When Śrī Kṛṣṇa was departing from Vraja for Mathurā, Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam records that Śrī Kṛṣṇa promised:

āyāsya iti

I shall return.—Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam 10.39.35

Not only this, even when Nanda Mahārāja and the other Vrajavāsīs were returning to Vraja after the killing of Kaṁsa and the crowning of Ugrasena as king, Kṛṣṇa again promised Nanda Mahārāja:

vayaṁ ca ... draṣṭum eṣyāmo

We shall come to you and become the object of your vision.—Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam 10.45.23

Would Śrī Kṛṣṇa lie on both occasions? One of the names of Bhagavān Śrī Kṛṣṇa given in a nāma-stotra in the Brahmāṇḍa Purāṇa is:

satya-vāk satya-saṅkalpaḥ

Kṛṣṇa's speech is truthful, and His resolve or undertaking is unfailingly accomplished.—Brahmāṇḍa Purāṇa

Even if someone says that perhaps Kṛṣṇa did not lie consciously, but due to circumstances He could not fulfil His promise, that is not possible because He is satya-saṅkalpaḥ. His resolve never fails. No circumstances can thwart the plan of Bhagavān and make His statement go untrue.

Furthermore, in the Hari-vaṁśa Purāṇa, Śrī Kṛṣṇa declares to Nārada Muni:

nānṛtaṁ hi vaco vipra! proktapūrvaṁ mayānagha!

O brāhmaṇa! O sinless one! I have never previously spoken an untruth.—Hari-vaṁśa Purāṇa 125.37

According to the Viṣṇu-yāmala, quoted in Bhakti-rasāmṛta-sindhu 2.1.247–248, conditioned mortals have eighteen defects, one of which is the tendency to speak lies (asatyam). Bhagavān, however, is completely free from such defects:

aṣṭādaśa-mahā-doṣair rahitā bhagavan-mūrtiḥ

Bhagavān is free from the eighteen great defects.—Bhakti-rasāmṛta-sindhu 2.1.246

In fact, Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam, the crest jewel of all Vedic literature, begins by glorifying Śrī Kṛṣṇa as:

satyam paraṁ dhīmahi

We meditate upon the Supreme Truth.—Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam 1.1.1

So how could Bhagavān Śrī Kṛṣṇa ever lie?

Even if one were to say that Kṛṣṇa lied despit

e being satya-vāk, then could even His best devotee, Śrī Uddhava, also lie? Uddhava said to the Vrajavāsīs:

āgamiṣyaty adīrgheṇa kālena vrajam acyutaḥ

Acyuta will soon return to Vraja.—Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam 10.46.34

Acyuta means One who never fails to keep His promises or fails in His commitments to His devotees. After all, how could Bhagavān, who is satya-vāk, who never speaks an untruth at any time or to anyone, speak such an untruth to those who are most dear to Him—the Vrajavāsīs?

yaḥ kadācid api kutrāpy anṛtaṁ na vakti, so ’tipriyeṣu kathaṁ tad vaded iti

He who never speaks an untruth at any time or anywhere—how could He speak such an untruth to those who are especially dear to Him?—Śrī Baladeva Vidyābhūṣaṇa’s Sāraṅga-raṅgadā-ṭīkā on Laghu-bhāgavatāmṛta 1.5.478

Thus, the fact is that Śrī Kṛṣṇa indeed returned to Vraja. After killing demons such as Śālva, Dantavakra and Vidūratha, Kṛṣṇa did come personally and stayed with the Vrajavāsīs for two months before He made His manifest līlā unmanifest. This has been explained by our ācāryas in their granthas such as Laghu-bhāgavatāmṛta and others, quoting pramāṇas from the Padma Purāṇa, Bṛhad-Viṣṇu Purāṇa and others.

In fact, even before Śrī Kṛṣṇa physically returned to Vraja, while He was still situated in Mathurā and Dvārakā, He manifested to the Vrajavāsīs in the form of visphūrti (a special manifestation of His presence), and also through sudden āvirbhāva (direct manifestation), appearing before those devotees whose hearts were overwhelmed by the intense distress of separation.

Can you please narrate the story of Jara mistakenly hitting an arrow in Sri Krishnas feet?

Sri Krishn in his virat swarup

It is said that Jara mistakenly hit an arrow in sri Krishn's feet.

Jara was hunter( Baheliya) . Sri krishn himself chosen to be killed by Jara.

Some reasons are:-

1 . The Jara was the Bali ( Ramayan) who was hit by Sri Ram mistakenly behind the bush ,so sri Krishn was also hit by same process in present birth

2 .. It is also that it was Gandhari curse, because of all sons were killed by deceiving of Sri Krishn in the Mahabharata War.

In my opinion..

Sri krishn is (supreme)Ishwar himself. It was only a play which was played by Sri Krishn to depart from this world.

How a Ishwar can die? Who has that much of capacity and power to destroy Sri Krishn body except himself?

He returned his dham with his own golden, divine and supernatural form.

What were the five most powerful weapons of Shri Krishna?

 Sudharsan Chakra

It was the Primary Weapon of Lord Krishna and he used it many times against powerful foes. One of the notable feats with this weapon is when he used it to cut off the thousands hands of Banasura:

With great force Gadadhara, worked up with ire, took up that wonderful discus, effulgent like the sun, at the discharge of which, all the worlds, mobile and immobile, become unconscious and flesh-eating creatures find great pleasure, discharged it and cut off Vana’s arms. When discharged by Shridhara, parmeating the universe, that firmament-like discus so moved about in the battle-field that no body could see its true form. Gradually cutting off Vana’s thousand arms and making him the owner of only two the Sudarshana discus returned into Krishna’s hands.

Narayanastra

He used this weapon to counter the Pashupatastra of Lord Shiva in Banasura Battle:

Lord Kṛṣṇa counteracted a brahmāstra with another brahmāstra, a wind weapon with a mountain weapon, a fire weapon with a rain weapon, and Lord Śiva’s personal pāśupatāstra weapon with His own personal weapon, the nārāyaṇāstra.

Vaishnavastra

In Shoniputra battle, He terrified and defeated Bhutas, Yakshas and Asuras using this weapon:

Having thus counteracted those four weapons with his four arrows Madhava discharged his Vaishnava weapon like unto Antaka (the destroyer) with his mouth wide open. When the Vaishnava weapon was discharged all the Bhutas, Yakshas and Asuras of Vana’s host, unconscious and stricken with fear, fled on all sides. Then beholding his army abounding in Pramathas thus routed the great Asura Vana speedily ran towards the battle-field.

Saranga Bow

One of the 3 great bows mentioned in Mahabharat previously owned by Vishnu himself:

There were three celestial bows owned by the denizens of heaven, viz., Gandiva owned by Varuna, the bow called Vijaya owned by Indra, and that other celestial bow of great energy said to have been owned by Vishnu. This last (Sarnga), capable of striking fear into the hearts of hostile warriors, was held by Krishna.

Kaumodaki Mace

He used this mace to kill Dantavakra:

Although hit by Dantavakra’s club, Lord Kṛṣṇa, the deliverer of the Yadus, did not budge from His place on the battlefield. Rather, with His massive Kaumodakī club the Lord struck Dantavakra in the middle of his chest. His heart shattered by the club’s blow, Dantavakra vomited blood and fell lifeless to the ground, his hair disheveled and his arms and legs sprawling

What is the real age of Shri Krishna in the Mahabharata?

A lot of this is purely guess work. (This is purely based on Mahabharata and Harivamsa).

Age 0 - Krishna is born and is moved to Gokula where he spent early childhood till age 7. (Putana, cart, Arjuna trees).

Age 7 - Krishna moves to Vrindavana. He lives there till age 11 (Kaliya, Govardhana, Rasa, Arishta and Keshi).

Age 11 - Krishna and Balarama arrives in Mathura and Krishna kills Kamsa. Krishna's education under Sandipani in just 64 days.

Age 11 - 21 - Eighteen failed Invasions of Jarasandha against Mathura (this timeline could be shorter or longer).

Age 21 - Krishna moves to Dwaraka due to Kalayavana’s Invasion. Krishna tricks Kalayavana to be killed by Muchukunda. Balarama marries Revati.

Age 22 - Krishna marries Rukmini.

Age 23 - Syamantaka incident. Krishna marries Jambavati and Satyabhama.

Age 24 - Pradyumna and Samba are born. Pradyumna abducted by Shambara. Krishna goes to Varnavrata hearing of Lakshagraha incident. Krishna kills Shatadhanva for murdering Satrajit.

Age 25 - Krishna attends Draupadi Swayamavara and meets Pandavas.

Age 26 - 29 - Krishna accompanies Pandavas to Hastinapur and then Khandavaprastha and helps them settle there. (This must have taken a few years).

Age 40 - Pradyumna returns after killing Shambara.

Age 42 - Pradyumna marries the daughter of Rukmi.

Age 43 - Arjuna arrives in Dwaraka at the end of his 12 year exile. Arjuna abducts Subhadra with Krishna's consent. Aniruddha is born to Pradyumna.

Age 45 - Khandava daha.

Age 46 - Narakasura Vadha and Parijata Harana.

Age 47 - Jarasandha Vadha.

Age 48 - Shishupala Vadha, Shalva Vadha and Ekalavya Vadha.

Age 60 - Banasura Yuddham.

Age 62 - peace mission to Hastinapura. Kurukshetra war.

Age 63 - Balarama kills Rukmi.

Age 98 - Destruction of Dwaraka and Vaikhuntarohana.

Note 1 - Krishna's age could easily be well over a 100 if you make him older when he killed Kamsa or if we extend the period of Jarasandha's invasions or if we take statements of Krishna meditating in Himalayas for 12 years for Pradyumna’s birth seriously. This is a very conservative timeline.

Note 2 - Vrindavana period is so short because if you read the Harivamsa you will realise that everything in Vrindavan is happening in quick succession. Kaliya, Dhenuka, Pralamba incidents happened in a single monsoon season and Govardhan happened immediately after.

Is it true that Ashwatthama wanted the Sudarshana Chakra of the Lord Krishna?

 Yes. This is true.

Ashwatthama asked for Krishna's Sudarshan chakra in exchange for his Brahmashira

He came to Dvaraka and was supremely honoured by the Vrishnis. While he dwelt in Dvaravati, he once came to me, while I was alone along the shores of the ocean. He smiled and told me, ‘O Krishna! My father, the preceptor of the Bharatas, has given the weapon named brahmashira to me. It was obtained by Agastya, for whom truth was his valour, after performing the fiercest of austerities. It is worshipped by the gods and the gandharvas. O Dasharha! It is with me now, as it used to be with my father. O supreme among the Yadu lineage! I will give that divine weapon to you, if you give me the chakra weapon in return, one that is capable of destroying enemies in battle.’ O king! He affectionately joined his hands in salutation and addressed these words to me. O bull among the Bharata lineage! He carefully sought that weapon from me.

Ashwatthama tried to take the Sudarshan chakra but was unable to even move it

At this, I asked him to take the chakra. He violently seized the chakra with his left hand. O one without decay! However, he was incapable of moving it from its spot. He then attempted to seize it with his right hand. He made every kind of effort and tried every means to grasp it. But though he used all his strength, he was incapable of raising it or moving it. Drona’s evil-minded son made the supreme of efforts. O descendant of the Bharata lineage! Exhausted, he then desisted.

Ashwatthama accepted that no one other than Krishna can wield the chakra

O Krishna! O great one! After worshipping you, it was my intention to fight with youThat is the reason I desired the chakra, worshipped by gods and danavas. O lord! Had I obtained it, I would have become invincible. I tell you this truthfully. O Keshava! That is the truth. I have not obtained that extremely rare object of desire. O Govinda! I am about to depart. Speak auspicious words to me now. You are a bull among the Vrishnis and you wield this chakra, with the excellent naveThere is no one on earth who can receive this chakra.
