Why did Malaika Arora divorced and left Arbaz Khan inspite of having a child from him?

 When Malaika Arora and Arbaaz Khan announced their separation in 2017, it came as a shock to everyone. After all, they had a solid 19-year-long marriage.

Some reports even attributed the divorce to Arbaaz Khan's unsuccessful career and financial standing. However, a report on News in English: Latest News, Breaking News, Live Updates - IndiaTV News states that Arbaaz's family is the reason for the alleged trouble in paradise between the couple. Apparently, Arbaaz's family wants Malaika to give up her career and live a domestic life. Hmm...we wonder if there is any truth to these rumours considering how the Khan family has always been supportive of all of Salman's girlfriends, who happen to be known B-Town celebrities.

While several speculations were made about the reason behind their divorce, Malaika has now revealed that she and Arbaaz were in an unhappy marriage.

Malaika admitted that it wasn't easy to call off their marriage, but it was a mutual decision, taken for the best of both the parties involved.

"It was better off that we moved our separate ways. Because we were two people in a situation making each other extremely unhappy which was impacting everybody else's life around us," she said.

Malaika also mentioned that her family wasn't that supportive.

In fact, the Chaiyya Chaiyya dancer was asked to give her decision a second thought just a night before the divorce.

"Nobody really encourages you to go right ahead. Even the night before the divorce, I had my family sit with me and ask me, are you sure? I heard this all along," she recalled.

However, Malaika, currently a judge of India's Got Talent, chose her happiness over everything else, because that's most important to her.

"It's never easy, but for me, happiness is the most important. And it's not just me it's the happiness for everybody around. Even if it means that I have to make or take such a major decision in my life,"

Interestingly, after divorce, Malaika and Arbaaz, continue to share a friendly equation with each other. Their 16-year-old son Arhaan stays with Malaika.

Arbaz has visitation rights of his son, as per the settlement reached in Bandra Family Court.

Currently, they both are dating different people.

It is said that her friendship with Arjun Rampal and their alleged drug intake was reportedly one of the main reasons why Sussanne and Hrithik broke up.

4. Hrithik's busy schedule - Sources say that Ms. Roshan was upset that Hrithik was constantly busy with movies and promotional events that he pay much attention to her and the family.

5. Another reason that was rumored to cause their breakup was that she was unhappy with her in-laws. There was news that mother-in-law Pinky Roshan had got into a terrible feud with Sussanne.

On Gauri Khan‘s birthday 2016, Sussanne wished her on Instagram and shared an old photo of herself and Hrithik with Gauri. The caption used #FriendsForLife gives us clear hint that the couple may have been divorced now, but the two are still good friends.
