What is the most unbelievable thing in human history?

In the days before smartphones and video games, people devised creative ways to pass the time.

They were engrossed in blood sports.

Fox crushing

The name of the sport says it all.

In later generations, perhaps because the novelty had worn off, competitors sometimes wore costumes.

Two people wait, each holding one end of a rope. The moment an animal is released from its cage and passes over the rope, they pull the rope with all their might, sending the animal flying high into the air. The competition is to see who can send the animal the highest.

Besides foxes, rabbits, wild boars, muss rats, and wildcats are also used.

The animals that fall may attack the competitors, but they are usually severely injured and all die.

There is virtually no chance of survival.

It seems that this isn't the only blood sport enjoyed in leisure time. Goose pulling...

It's a common form of entertainment, and its content is exactly as the name suggests.

A goose is hung upside down from a large wooden frame resembling a doorway. A competitor on horseback charges at full speed and tears off the oiled goose's head with their bare hands.

It's actually still a popular sport today, but nowadays they use dead geese.

People from all walks of life have been captivated by this bizarre blood sport.

Rat bullying

A large animal (often a dog) is released into an enclosure containing rats. Spectators bet on how long it will take for the rats to be torn to pieces.

Blood sports themselves are quite familiar to modern people and are not particularly shocking. Bullfighting, cockfighting, dogfighting, octopus wrestling, and fox hunting are well-known examples.

The examples cited in this article are shocking because they involve actively harming harmless animals.

They torture animals without mercy—and laugh gleefully.

"That was so much fun the other day, Mary. You should try it too!"

"Oh, what are you talking about?"

"It's obviously to kill the fox!"

"Yes, let's take the kids with us!"

This conversation might have taken place!

In this day and age, animal cruelty leads to jail time. It's not like wealthy Americans in disguise are killing foxes.

What is the dirtiest thing in India?

Our mindset Yes, you heard right our mindset is the dirtiest thing in India 🇮🇳

These pictures are from India brothels, yes these pictures are from brothels area and lakhs of sex workers are work forcefully by big Mafia's, and who will go there, common people(whose fault is this?)

Human Trafficking is the worst in India and who live below the poverty line are on the target of those Mafia who indulges in this crime. And on the other side State and National government didn't help that much of them. They don't have any social security. Because of our thinking, they are compelled to live like that.

The other one is female foeticide in India 🇮🇳,

according to report in the last two decades more than 10 million girls killed by abortion or in some another manner. And because of this sex ratio going down drastically in the northern part of India 🇮🇳

Worst performing states are there.

Every year when we celebrate Navratri, on the day of Pujan we find girls for performing puja and for offering food but if the girl was born in our home we tried to kill them.

What is the most horrible thing Queen Elizabeth II has ever done?

Not horrible, but insensitive, even petty.

Here's the grievance: on April 8, 2005, the funeral of John Paul II, Pope of the Catholic Church, took place. On this occasion, virtually every head of state in the world was present, including presidents, reigning kings and queens, high-ranking dignitaries from all religions, and heads of government—in short, the gathering of dignitaries from various countries exceeded 200. All countries except one. Well, not quite. Queen Elizabeth II was notably absent. It was her son, Prince Charles, who represented the British Crown.

Why was she absent? At that time, she was still young and could have traveled much further for less. Did she have a migraine? A boil on her backside? An episode of a must-see TV series? No. The real reason for her absence was that she didn't want to bend the knee to the Catholic Church, she who is the head of the Church of England, a title that is one of her attributes as monarch. Now, the Church of England has "divorced" itself from the Catholic Church (it's a break, not a schism) since 1534 and has since held a rather unique status, being both "Catholic and Reformed." Everyone understood her undignified gesture at the time, an absence that meant that Elizabeth, by coming, would be seen as an act of allegiance to this Catholic Church that the British, on the whole, reject, even despise.

Some television news commentators also disliked his absence and did not hesitate to say a few words about it, while in the audience of heads of state, President George W. Bush was seen on screen shaking hands with Iranian President Mohammad Khatami, two antagonistic enemies who happened to be seated not far from each other…

Here's what I say: protocol or not, what the queen wants, the queen gets. The codified protocol shouldn't be used as a smokescreen to simply hide the fact that the queen didn't want to go, that's all.

So this is the "nasty" thing that Elizabeth II did…

All nationalities and all religions were represented…

Even the atheist Fidel Castro was there…

But not her…

This is the most wonderful thing you'll see today. This monument reflects the capacity of human ingenuity. A prodigious work that for many would be impossible to believe.

The great Rani Ki Vav temple, the most mysterious in the world, is said to have been built by Queen Udayamti for her husband Bhima, but perhaps she wasn't able to see it completed, and the Chalukya king finished it.

The wells, which, as you can see, are staggered and constitute a characteristic means of collecting and storing water in the Indian subcontinent, according to great historians, began to be built as early as the third millennium BC.

But this alone makes Rani Ki Vav a place of beauty and wonder, as distinguished archaeologists over time have found great architectural and artistic works. It is worth mentioning that it was built at the height of the Maru-Gurjar style of well-building and artwork creations. This style originated in northern India during the medieval period, when the tribe was ruled by the Chalukya dynasty.

This monument is truly a work of art of great beauty, not only for its proportions but for the extraordinary details it contains. Rani Ki Vav is an inverted temple to highlight the sacred nature of water. It has seven staggered floors, each sculpted with great artistic quality, where visitors can admire just over 500 main sculptures and another 1,000 secondary sculptures with religious, mythological, and secular themes.

Over time, the Sraswati River fulfilled the Rani temple's purpose: "BRINGING HEALING WATER." The waters of this river flooded the well, clogging it with silt and mud. Eventually, Rani Ki Vav lay buried for over 500 years, along with all its beautiful architecture and marvelous assemblages. Today, it remains a mystery: how they managed to place those blocks, and how its marvelous statuettes contain certain artifacts that are barely used today.

It was in 1940, during the British Raj, when Henry and James, amateurs who discovered the buried well, with only a few pillars visible. It took 46 years to restore it, and it was finally completed in 1986. But it wasn't until 2014 that it was granted UNESCO World Heritage status.

Is there any interesting thing accidentally caught on your camera?

I captured this in Paris when we visited Eiffel Tower. It was a weekend and naturally the place was crowded and with everyone trying to capture the beauty, there was hardly any space and time to focus and capture.

I tried my best to capture some pics with my mobile cam and later I realized that I was able to capture Eiffel Tower's shadow almost perfectly. I was happy as I never thought it would come out this good (at least for me!).

Edit 1:: I got couple of comments and several messages asking date and time of capture so here you go

Edit 2:: Pasting Suryansh’s comment

Date: 8th Apr

Pretty close to the spring equinox, when Sun is directly over the equator. 8th April means sun a wee bit towards the North of the equator

Time: 11.38 in Paris with Day light saving.

Paris is pretty much on the same longitude as Greenwich.Paris is 48.8°N 2.3°E.Difference between GMT and local Paris time, 2 hours.Which means, solar time at Paris was 11.38–2 + (2.3*4mins) = 9.47AM.

So, the time suggests that Sun was almost at 45° inclination.Latitude also 48° but since the date is 8th Apr and sun has drifted Northwards so its elevation in sky was again 45°.

The time and location both were conducive to get an angle of 45°, which means your shadow was exact the same size as the tower itself and the angle

What is the most peculiar thing that is only seen in India?

To be honest, unlike my other answers I did not do much work on this. However, I have tried to include the images which Indians themselves, would be able to relate to the most.

Here are some others:
