What is the tourism problem faced by Gujarat?

I can answer this question based on views of my non-Gujarati friends.

First of all, Basic tourism problem is zero in Gujarat because of

  • Good Transport service - You can reach any corner of Gujarat with government transport, Private transport or private vehicle.
  • Good Highway/ good connectivity - Highways are really good. You can enjoy your road trip
  • Safety - You are safe to travel any time in Gujarat. Even you can drive your private vehicle at midnight. (You know night journey is not safe in some state. You may have to face some circumstances)

Problems may be….

  • Dry state - Mostly people prefer drink when he/she is on vacation or at tourist place. When people plan for Gujarat, First things come to his/her mind that “Gujarat is dry state,Drink will not be easily available over there.” But let me clear tourist can enjoy drink with legal permission. Process is easy and online. For more information you can read my answer : How is liquor easily available in Gujarat if it's banned and illegal?
  • Non-vegetarian food - Yes, Vegetarian peoples are majority here. Non-vegetarian restaurants are very few. Hardly you will get non-vegetarian restaurants on high ways. So some time you need to compromise with your food.
  • Travelling - Let’s assume you want to visit some places which is promoted by Amitabhji “khushboo Gujarat ki”. Here i share map with location.(Diu i added extra)

Whenever my friends see this map they always say “Sab kitna door door he !!”

Trust me Gujarat is a good place for visit with family and friend. You will enjoy culture and hospitality of Gujarat.

What are the signature dishes of each state of India?

Hello. Gujarati Here. These are one of my favorite gujarati dishes.

Breakfast

  • Vaghareli Rotli

It is my favorite breakfast. The left over rotis from the previous day are cut into small pieces and fried with little oil, salt, pepper and turmeric.

  • Fafda-Jalebi

Most popular (and most unhealthy) Gujarati breakfast. Made out of besan (gram flour) and deep fried in edible oil. It is eaten with carrot salad and tamarind chatni and Jalebi. Jalebi is again very sweet and deeply fried in edible oil and dipped in chasni (hot sugar water).

  • Daal-Vada

North Gujarati breakfast. Vada made out of besan and mung daal and fried in oil.

  • Daal Pakvan

Sindhi breakfast. Fried papdi crushed and mixed with normal daal with added chopped onions, tomatoes etc.

  • Surati Locho

As the name suggests, very famous in Surat and south Gujarati cities.

  • Khaman-Dhokala
  • Thepla

Most popular travel food. They don’t spoil even after 15 days.

Main Course

  • Undhiyu

All the green vegetables available are mixed and made subzi out of it the normal way. Moreover, fried besan balls are added to enhance the taste.

  • Ringana no Olo (Baigan Bharta)

Normal baigan bharta made out of bottle brinjals with added Gujarati flavours of different masala and more spicy.

  • Daal-Dhokali

Dhokli is small cubes made out of besan. It is cooked along with normal daal.

  • Adadni Daal

Urad daal made extra spicy and salty. Eaten with Bajri Rotla.
