Who is the strangest person in the history of humankind?

An individual hailing from an unrecognized nation.

In 1954, a corporate traveler described as white landed at Tokyo's Haneda Airport to attend a commercial conference. This traveler was fluent in multiple tongues, including Japanese, and stated he had traveled to the country on numerous occasions. Everything appeared perfectly normal up until a border agent looked over his travel document and failed to recognize the nation. The passport had been printed by an unknown state named Taured.

Initially, the agent assumed it was just a lapse in his own knowledge and requested assistance from his manager. The manager was equally baffled, as were all the other personnel on duty. The document itself looked completely authentic and featured various border stamps from global destinations, including Japan. Consequently, they requested that the traveler identify his homeland on a world map.

He laid his finger right on Andorra (the tiny nation nestled between Spain and France). When the agents corrected him and explained that the territory he selected was actually Andorra, he grew incredibly furious and insisted that Taured had a recorded history spanning a millennium! The individual was highly distressed and genuinely appeared convinced that Taured was an actual sovereign state.

They placed a call to the lodging establishment he claimed to have reserved in Tokyo, but the front desk had no such reservation on file. The corporation he was supposedly visiting for his commercial meeting did exist in Tokyo, but they had never heard of any branch or contact in Taured (naturally).

Unsurprisingly, authorities feared this individual could be a fraudster. Therefore, they confined him to a local hotel room with a pair of guards positioned directly in front of the door (which served as the sole way into or out of the space). The accommodation was situated on a high level of a skyscraper hotel and completely lacked any exterior balcony.

To their absolute astonishment, when they unlocked the accommodation the following morning, they found that the traveler had vanished entirely along with his bags and his travel document. How could he have escaped given that the sole doorway was under constant surveillance throughout the night?

Certain individuals argue that this enigmatic figure truly originated from Taured, suggesting that the nation occupies a separate reality and that he had accidentally slipped through a rift in dimensions to arrive at Haneda Airport. An alternative perspective posits that the puzzling figure was a chronological voyager who had mistakenly touched down at the terminal. Most of all, plenty of skeptics argue that the entire event is merely a highly detailed digital legend.

How can you tell if someone is a good person or just pretending?

 It's impossible to know.

Unfortunately.

Remember Ellen DeGeneres?

A funny, friendly, and nice presenter who even hosted the Oscars twice. But if it weren't for the testimonies and actions of former colleagues, as well as videos of her being rude to her celebrity guests, we would never have known about it. Ellen doesn't allow her colleagues to look her in the eye, speak to her, or eat meat in her presence. On camera, she was extremely rude to Mariah Carey. He even went so far as to offer the singer a drink to put aside the assumptions that she was pregnant (she was, and that was a private matter until then).

Narcissistic liars are everywhere.

But that's a famous person, so I'll tell you another story. About ordinary people.

I knew a man who was such a good liar that many people in his inner circle had no idea what a monster he was. Others, however, only had a vague impression of his true character.

His secret: he believed his own lies.

Even if he, in the deepest and most secret dark chamber of his mind or in what remains of his heart, knows what he truly is, he simply buries the lies so deeply beneath the dirt that he is able to change his truths and believe his lies.

This man drove people to depression, fired others simply because he could, destroyed the careers of other colleagues out of pure jealousy, and tried to bribe people on many occasions for his own benefit.

And yet, I saw him cry - literally CRY, with tears and everything - after someone accused him of some of his mistakes.

The effect of this?

The honest man – the accuser – was considered a horrible person, while the pathological liar was believed to have been falsely accused and was therefore innocent.

A victim.

Pathological liars usually have a way of believing their own lies, because otherwise, they have to admit to themselves that they are monsters.

Another celebrity story. Remember this guy?

Lance Armstrong

He was a former American professional cyclist, the 1993 road cycling champion. He became famous for winning the Tour de France seven times consecutively—an absolute record in that race—between 1999 and 2005. However, in 2012, a few years after ending his sporting career, he lost all titles obtained after 1998 and was banned from competitive cycling by the International Cycling Union due to drug use.

The saint.

You must remember that up to a certain point – that great and beautiful point – he claimed to be the most honest sportsman in the world, having won the Tour de France more times than any other human being.

He swore on his children's blood that he never used performance-enhancing drugs.

He ended up becoming a fraud. A liar, an unscrupulous man who believed his own lies because he needed them as truths to justify his actions.

Therefore, I repeat…

I'm sorry.

You can't catch those people.

They are the kings of their own (and false) truth.

AN ADDENDUM

What is a picture of Lindsay Lohan doing in this response?

Well, she's my main role model when it comes to answers related to psychology.

Lindsay doesn't seem like a pathological liar to me. In fact, I think she's quite the opposite: too honest and hiding very little.

She exposes herself a lot and leaves us with the lesson that being too honest can also harm us.

But I prefer this to the narcissistic liars in the cases above.

Who is the richest person in the world?

The richest human being lives in Russia.

This sounds weird, but this guy’s net worth is a mystery.

Some estimates have him at $70 billion. Others have him at $200 billion.

And both figures are modest.

Why?

On the Kremlin website, it shows the Russian president earned approximately $135,000.

Vladmir Putin also reports owning a 830 square foot apartment in St. Petersburg, along with a few very modest vehicles.

Of course, Putin has a rumored secret billion dollar mega-mansion that is held by a company that is rendered impossible to trace.

Of course, involvement with the compound is denied.

The Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project have good reason to believe that he has a large stake in the state-controlled gas giant Gazprom.

Other firms that operate out of his homeland, too.

In 2012, there was a report that had revealed he owned 58 planes and helicopters and 20 palaces that were worthy of tsars.

I’d tack on a secondary title; most powerful man in the world.

Richest? I mean, it could very well be that his net worth is in excess of $200 billion.

We won’t know, given Putin seems firm that his $135,000 salary camouflages him from the rest of the world.

If it is true, though? (Spoiler; it’s true)

Sure is a whole lot of money for a man who is supposed to be working for the people.

Who is the most savage person in history?

She drank blood, tortured and had s@x with young women and men to remain young and beautiful: Elizabeth Báthory

She has been described as the most vicious and cruel female serial killer in all recorded history so far. She enjoyed their screams and pain.

When she was 11 or 12, she had a baby by a lower-order lover who was working as an artisan in her family's dynasty. He was castrated and then torn to pieces by the dogs of “Noble family” along with the baby .

It was revealed later that she enjoyed torturing, m@lesting and killing young girls who were daughters of her peasants. She believed that drinking the blood of young girls would preserve her youthfulness and her looks. Wearing and drinking their blood would keep her hormones high( as she believed) Witnesses later revealed that she stabbed her victims (young girls) or biting their bre@sts, hands, faces and arms, cutting them with scissors, sticking needles into their lips or burning them with red-hot irons, coins or keys. Some were beaten to death and some were starved. The story that Elizabeth used to bathe in their blood seems to have been added later on. She would enjoy drinking their blood during their mansturation cycle.

Elizabeth was not put on trial, because of her family’s standing, but she was shut up in Csetje Castle, held in solitary confinement in a room whose windows were walled up. She was 54 when she died there in 1614 in utter pain and agony. Is it true?

Why was Lakshman a short-tempered person?

It's a total misconception, Laxman was not a hot headed and angry young man. Laxman's character is one of the most glorious ones in Ramayana.

Laxman and Shatrughna were sons of Dashrath and Sumitra. Laxman followed Shri Ram and Shatrughna followed Bharat.

Laxman was a very intelligent, wise and very good warrior who defeated Indrajit, not an easy achievement at all. He is called Avatar of Sheshnaga in Valmiki Ramayana.

Unlike what TV serials have shown us, Laxman did not rebuke Janaka for insulting Kshtriyas in Swayamvar because there wasn't any Swayamvar at all. He never spoke before elders unnecessarily, specially when Shri Ram was present.

Laxman also didn't converse with Parshuram at all. It's Shri Ram who did all the conversation with Parshuram.

The one time he was extremely angry was when Kaikeyi demanded his exile and Dashrath could'nt stop it. He advised Shri Ram to imprison Dashrath and if necessary even kill him as he failed to perform his duties as King and agreed to send Shri Ram in exile without any fault. Shri Ram reasoned with him and then only his anger toned down. He still wasn't happy Shri Ram wasn't fighting for his rights and called him too much believer in fate.

Laxman was a highly devoted and intelligent brother. He's the one who said that Golden deer was the demon and it was a trick. Shri Ram said if it's a demon he would kill him and if it isn't, he would bring him as Sita wanted the deer.

Laxman saw Sita like a mother, he never directly looked at her face and always saw her feet because his eyes were always low. That's why when Sita accused him saying unworthy words, Laxman was distraught and left Sita to find Shri Ram.

There is no Laxman Rekha in Valmiki Ramayana. He left Sita because she was continuously saying words which pinched him and he prayed to jungle gods to keep her safe. Lord Ram later scolded Laxman to not have left Sita because she said those words out of anger, fear and distress and she didn't actually mean it.

When Sita was abducted, Laxman is the one who gave courage to Shri Ram and motivation to find her. He has done it repeatedly in the epic, many times he's the sole moral and emotional support to Shri Ram.

In short Laxman was not short tempered, he had warrior like qualities but it doesn't mean he was roaming around brooding and looking angry all the time.

Who is the hardest-working person of all time?

Late Shankar Nag was an Indian actor, director and script writer of Konkani origin. He mostly worked in South Indian movies and in only a few Bollywood and Marathi language movies.

He was reportedly known to work for 20 hours. He never used to waste time.

Although nobody knows or heard of him, he is the one who is known for directing the popular Hindi serial “Malgudi days(1986)”.

Some amazing facts about him

Which celebrated Bollywood celebrity was a horrible person in real life?

 Rajesh Khanna.

Rajesh Khanna was a superstar and superstardom was something, he couldn’t handle. At one time he was treated like a god in Indian cinema and the real problem started when he really started thinking that he is one.

Rajesh Khanna started his career from Chetan Anand’s film “Akhari Khat” which was a dud at box office. But Shakti Shamantha’s “Aaradhna” made him superstar over the night. Success got into his head. And the first victim of this was his girlfriend of seven years Anju Mahendru. After the breakup Khanna married Dimple Kapadia before the release of her first movie Bobby. The story goes that he got his baraat to go in front of Mahendru’s bungalow (which was actually Khanna’s bungalow). They did not speak for nearly 17 years after his marriage.

With success came a group of hangers on, who kept reminding Khanna that he was the superstar. “Although those were the days when Khanna was ‘friends’ with nearly all his colleagues, the regular darbar that he held at Aashirwad had only small-timers in attendance. Among those he hung out with were the producers Mohan Kumar and Johnny Bakshi, writer VK Sharma and villain Roopesh Kumar (claimed to be a cousin of Mumtaz).

These people made the things worse for him as Rajesh Khanna didn’t care anyone including these fellows when he was riding high on the stardom. He used to arrive late on sets, working with him was a huge task for directors and he mostly was introvert and quite unfriendly with his co-actors. Only after four years of his success journey, in year 1973, Amitabh Bachchan appeared in the scene featuring in blockbuster film Zanjeer. He was a boy next door types, an angry young man and people instantly liked him. He was professional, more humble and available to the producers and directors and very soon, he replaced Rajesh Khanna as the next superstar.

Almost unemployed, defeated and still stubborn Rajesh Khanna isolated himself to his house and became an alcoholic. His wife, his daughter and all the remaining family members also left him slowly and in his last days he was only seen with a nobody like “Anita Advani”. She was rumoured to be his live-in partner and the only person around him when he died.

Tragic!!! Isn’t it???

Who was the first person to receive a Nobel Prize? And in which category?

When Swedish chemist Alfred Nobel died on 10 December 1896, he left his fortune to individuals or organisations that provide the "greatest benefit on mankind". The very first awarding of five Nobel Prizes took place five years after his death in 1901 – and they remain some of the most prestigious awards in the world. On the anniversary of the first prize-giving ceremony, we look at who won the first Nobel Prizes.

Physics

German physicist Wilhelm Conrad Rontgen circa

In November 1895, German physicist Wilhelm Conrad Rontgen produced and detected electromagnetic radiation in a wavelength range known as X-rays, or Rontgen rays, an achievement that earned him the very first Nobel prize in physics. In 2004, the International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry named a radioactive element roentgenium after the scientist.

Chemistry

Chemist Jacobus Henricus van ‘t HoffNICOLA PERSCHEID

Dutch chemist Jacobus Henricus van't Hoff was awarded the first Nobel Prize in chemistry for his work on rates of chemical reaction, chemical equilibrium and osmotic pressure – the measure of the tendency of a solution to take in water by osmosis. His work defined the field of chemistry as we know it today.

French poet Sully Prudhomme was awarded the first Nobel Prize in literature "in special recognition of his poetic composition, which gives evidence of lofty idealism, artistic perfection and a rare combination of the qualities of both heart and intellect".

Peace

Swiss businessman Henry DunantWIKI COMMONS

Henry Dunant and Frederic Passy were the first recipients of the Nobel Peace Prize. Swiss businessman Dunant was a witness to the battle at the town of Solferino in Italy in 1859. After organising humanitarian aid work, he wrote the book A Memory of Solferino, which stated all countries should form associations to help the sick and wounded on the battlefield – regardless of what side they belong to. The result was the foundation of the International Committee of the Red Cross in 1863 and the adoption of the Geneva Convention the following year.

As an economist and politician, Passy maintained that free trade between independent nations promoted peace. He founded the first French Peace Society and an independent leftist republican in the French Chamber of Deputies, he opposed France's colonial policy as it went against the ideals of free trade. Passy was also one of the founders of the Inter-Parliamentary Union, an organisation for co-operation between the elected representatives of different countries.
