These substantial mistakes dented the careers of below mentioned actors:
Aamir Khan - Aamir used to own and rule the box office. He had monumental hits like- Ghajini, 3 Idiots, Dangal, Dil, Raja Hindustani, PK. Aamir’s movie PK had objectionable scenes involving Mahadev ( A character playing Mahadev have been mocked ), aided by Aamir’s statement of India as an unsafe place and visit to Turkey ( a prime enemy of India and sharing evening with the Turkey President ) has in combination led to immense downfall of his public image. Every new Aamir’s movie gets boycotted and cornered. These all events were self goals by Aamir. People still fail to understand - how Aamir ( a perceived movie genuis ) agreed these controversial scenes in PK. His last movies have not been successful, while Taare Zameen pe was a moderate sucess. His production house having duds one after another ( Ek Din, Batwara 1947). In the recent interviews, podcast- Aamir cries often, the loss is clearly visible on his face, in his answers ( see the Rajat Sharma - Aap ki Adalat, podcast with Riya Chakraborty). Aamir may still strike back with a big bang movie, however, has permanently lost a section of audience and some prominent years of career and box office sucess.
Vivek Oberoi: Vivek had smashing debut and all round success with Sathiya, Company and it was like a star was born. His feud with Salman, and his infamous press confrence doomed his career. Although, Vivek still survived and still doing films, and being a great businessman, however, earlier sucess was not matched. In his interviews - he has informed many times that- he was thrown out of movies, he was asked not to attend parties, film award shows. People were afraid to work with him. Vivek certainly missed Movie super stardom, although in practical life Vivek is doing very good and a known man of charity.
Shiney Ahuja arrested for crime, Vinod Khanna taking a career break at prime were also prominent career breakers.
