- The first thing kumbhakarna did after waking up was to ask if everything is alright with king and the country , .(I don't know why ramanand showed he started eating as soon as he woke up) [yudhakand-60-66]
2. He said “I shall drive away the misfortune from Ravana the King of Demons, even if I have to cut Mahendra himself to pieces or to freeze the Fire.” [Yudhakand- 60–69]
3. He was going to meet ravana after destroying the vanar sena, however Mahodar(the cheif of rakshas) decided to ask lankesh first and ravana said he wants to see kubhkaran here.
4. Before meeting his brother, kubhkaran drunk 2 thousand pitchers of wine and refreshed himself with bathing.
5. Ramanand sagar’s ramayana showed wrong that indra played a trick and asked saraswati to sit on kubhkaran's tongue so that he could pronounce ‘Indraasan' as ‘nidraasan' while asking for a boon from brahma. Actually according to valmiki ramayan brahma cursed him As follows "It is sure that you were created by visravasa for the destroyal of people. On that account, you will be sleeping apparently dead from now onwards." . [Yudhakand- 61–25]
6. When ravana explained why he's in anxiety and why he urgently needs him kumbhkarna said that he totally deserves it. And his punishment for all the sins he's done till now. [Yudhakand-63-3]
7. He told that every action should be taken care cautiously and If not it gets spoiled like just like offering obligations without properly making a fire [yudhakand- 63–4]
8. Kumbhakarna said that only a person who acts according to an agreement done with his counsellors, considering three types of duties*, by harassing five types of means**, moves along a right course."
*1). Conclusion of peace through conciliation. 2) acceptance of allegiance through gift. 3) invasion, as a method of coercion. **1) The method of initiating an actions. 2) Personality and material to be worked upon. 3) Time and place of action. 4) Provision against mischance and 5) chances of success.
9. Kumbhakarna agreed with all the advices given to ravana by vibhishan and said ravana to do whatever he wishes to do.
10. After ravana got angry on all the advices given to him by kubhkaran, kubhkaran explained his point and said he adviced only because ravana is his brother.
Now because of ramanand sagar's show a number of people became kubhkaran’s fan. Which I somehow think is wrong
11. Nowhere does he mentioned that ram is narayana avatar (as ramanand showed) and he said he's going to kill rama and laxmana and drink their blood. And he'll bring Ram's head today. [6–63–36]
12. He wanted maa sita to remain unhappy and he wanted her to suffer and Serve ravana [6–63–36, 58]
13. He got frightened of hanumana(an avatar of shiva) when hanumana broke his Iron spike weighing 20 thousand tulas. [6–67–66]
14. He did not had a talk with vibhishana when he entered the battlefield. He just directly started killing-crushing and eating all the monkeys.
15.He spoke disrespectfully to laxmana [6–67–106] and showed his arrogancy towards rama.
16. Rama didn't had any opinion about kumbhakarna and there's no quote of vibhishana mourning over his death.
Well Valmiki described him as धीमते कुम्भकर्ण which means intellectual kumbhakarna still that doesn't defends that he was evil and he wanted maa sita to suffer badly, we shouldn't respect him and should know all this is a propaganda
