 Here are some Awesome Facts about universe.

• Very few people see the Halley Comet twice. It comes at around every 75-76 years. One of the most famous men to see this comet was legendary author Mark Twain who was born in the year 1835 when it passed and he believed that he would die when it will return. Sure enough did he died in 1910 as soon as the comet returned.

• The biggest structure in the Universe is the Hercules Corona Borealis Great Wall, lying approximately 10 billion Light years across.

• The biggest object fallen from space to Earth is an iron meteorite named Hoba West which was discovered in Namibia in 1920. Originally it weighed 66 tonnes but since then 6 tonnes rusted away.

• Neil Armstrong also took Yuri Gagarin's ashes to the moon when he became the first person to step on the Moon.

•V838 Monocerotis (pictured below) was the inspiration for the famous design of Mozilla Firefox.

• The legendary Astronomer Carl Sagan suggested that Voyager 1 should take the photo “the pale blue dot” of the Earth. On seeing the photo, he said “From this distant vantage point, the Earth might not seem of any particular interest. But for us, it’s different. Consider again that dot. That’s here. That’s home. That’s us.”

• After a few trillion years, the night sky will be completely dark.

• Earth was once struck by a planet as big as Mars. The dust particles which were released later formed Earth's satellite - Moon

• The International Space Station is the most expensive object ever built at $150 billion.

• There are stars in the universe that are cold enough that can be touched by hand.

• Neptune recently completed its first revolution around the sun since being discovered in 1846.

• Charles Conrad's (3rd person to step on the Moon) first words when his shuttle landed on the Moon were
